What can you do when it is 9 on 5!!?!? Really, c'mon, DET 2nd goal was clearly a penalty. It is just toom uch to ask for!
Whoever wants to come in my thread and tell me I'm wrong and the PENS haven't outplayed DET, come!! Pens have to beat the world. It is too much to ask for!!

With you there Lee, one can only hope the refs swallow there whistles Tuesday when we get back to Pittsburgh. Along with the "help" the puck just isn't bouncing our way right now, a few times the pens just had to tuck the puck away basically open net one I rememer took a bounce and the puck wouldn't settle so he had to skate a little wide before the backhand opp, another when zettenburg I think it was Laid in the net osgood had no idea where the puck was and Crosby sticks it into the mouth and it slides under zettenburg. The 3rd goal given up was laziness on the d of the pens as well as another bounce, don't like being down 2/0 but it isn't panic yet because of the fact that they have truely won the games but not the scoreboards. I needed that, now I can sleep tonight without choking the dog out of anger, better the dog then the old lady domestic violence is major offence now a day:mj07:
Swallow their whistles on Tuesday??? What the hell have they done the first two games? They called 5 penalties in 120 minutes of play. Bottom line is Osgood is outplaying Fleury (last goal was bad tonight). But it's still a long series.
i don't think the referees have played a part in the series. osgood is playing amazing and the detroit defense is just swarming around malkin and crosby when they touch the puck. pittsburgh has been unlucky with some of the bounces they've received and i think fleury lost his concentration for a second on the 3rd goal when pitt tipped the puck and the det player caught it and fired it past him. everyone makes a big deal about det being up 2-0 and 31/32 teams going up 2-0 at home have won the series. as long as pitt can hold serve at home i think the series will reach 6 or 7 with det ultimately winning. det just has too many weapons i believe for pitt to overcome them. pitt should be a good play in game 3 and probably somewhere around the -135 mark.
the PENS should have been awarded to penalty shots for covering the puck in the crease, 1 on osgoods back in game 1, and then zetterberg in game 2....
the one bad thing about the pens that i will say is, that it is sad that malkin has to be the one to man up and try to spark something at the end of the game....
ok 2 things, i still dont know how you pay 4 million a year to staal when greg adams is tied or has more goals than him, hope they trade him for a scoring winger this off season!!!

Also, the 1st 2 goals DET scored last night, penalties were made that weren't called beforehand. Go back and watch. Samuelsson sets a pick on Malkin, which is Interference, where Malkin was gonna be able to get in the dee's face before the shot was made. 2nd goal, Hossa slashes and breaks Dupuis's fucking stick in half. Whatever! I still believe PENS have a good chance in this series!
it is sad when even the announcers, who have a hard on for any team playing the pens, say that detroit constantly interferes and the hossa play on dupuis, first he hooks hime (penalty #1), then he paul bunyans his goddam stick (penalty#2) in one damn sequence!!!!
LETS GO PENS!!! series aren't over until you lose one at home!!!
