FWIW, these were the same 3 refs that did Game 6 of the ECF in Boston. A game that the Celts won handily.

Yeah, but the point of the thread was that Stern sent these guys in to guarantee a home win for the Lakers. I'm not the one who said that, I was just commenting on the fact that didn't end up being the case.

Who knows? Maybe stern wanted the Celtics to win in LA just to throw everything off kilter?

Well I was replying to this thread that said the agenda was to get the Lakers a win in game 2 by sending certain refs to LA. That obviously didn't happen.

As for the series, there's no doubt in my mind the Lakers win at least one in Boston. Boston's a very good team and homecourt will be big for them, but LA is just too good to lose three in a row there. That isn't happening...

U can tell Im no NBA guy cause I didnt know the next 3 were in Boston. Thats a strange way to do it isnt it? If boston won all 3 it would be over quickly and we all know that isnt happening here in this finals.

Well, the person who started the thread seemed pretty certain. Otherwise, why else start a thread stating Stern is sending in refs to guarantee a game 2 Lakers win?

As for the game itself, isn't it possible the C's just outplayed the Lakers? Why do all outcomes have to be up to the commissioner? Personally, what I saw was Ray Allen and Rondo have HUGE games for the Celtics, in a game they probably needed to win if they wanted to have a realistic shot at winning the title. And if Stern had told the refs he wanted Boston to win, I doubt LA would have ended up with so many more foul shots than Boston.

2-3-2 is the old format, and I'm not sure why they're going back to it. I prefer the 2-2-1-1-1, myself.

And I agree that the C's won't win all 3 in Boston, but that's moreso because the Lakers are a great team and the odds of beating a great team 3 games in a row are incredibly slim, even if you're at home for all those games.

The person who started this thread also made a large wager on Boston 2nd half yesterday:

which meant that he thought Boston would win. So again, not sure why he started this thread. Maybe he changed his mind?

Yeah, I saw somebody post that they were taking the Lakers -7 2H yesterday, and he said something like "don't do it man." I found that odd considering he said the refs were going to make sure the Lakers won the game.

Why would you find it odd? The guy has talked out of his ass the entire time he has been here, under every name he has ever had.

If the Lakers came back and won.......don't you think the THIS thread would be the one he would have bumped, and the other one would have been left to die????

You can always pick the winner if you have both sides! :mj07:

Well, there may have been a little sarcasm in my post. I've been known to be a wiseacre from time to time. ;)

Ok let me clear the air.
I posted the info I found.
At halftime after the referees had given LA 15 more FT's than Boston and Boston was still up 6. The 2H line was LA-7 when the game was LA-6. Anyone who has wagered any length of time knows you always take the points if they are more in the 2H than the game. Also it was clear that books were begging for LA money at half with a line like that. So as I stated somewhere I was a fan and not a bettor for the game . The refs did everything possible to help LA win that game BUT RAY ALLEN set a FINALS RECORD so. I had a GOLDEN opportunity to make a nice wager 2H when my guy gave me +9. Understand now ? As for YYZ he is just an loser who spends his days busting balls. Ya seen a pic of this guy it is in my other thread take a peek you will have some sympathy for him. :0074

If you dont like my plays FADE EM' ladies.

You can deflect the attention from your original post all you want, asshat. The fact is, you climbed in here with all your USELESS stats about how Stern's boys were here to lock down this game for LA.

The FACT remains........you, and your boyfriend Dung-a-heap don't know shit about any fucking "set-ups" going down. Never have.......never will. He was a degenerate gambler who got busted, and you're a degenerate wannabe who can't cap a game to save his fucking nuts.

You point out the obvious, and when it happens......you scream, "Tada!" If it fails, you cry foul, or conspiracy.

Go bus another table, or clean another urinal, but for fuck sake, please quit posting this bullshit every day.
