if i recall correctly, stocks were also up plenty the day after election day in 2020. so what's your point? the market has done... oh, quite well over the last 4 years, despite predictions of gloom and doom after biden was elected.

Why would we be upset about speculation artificially driving the market up? Stock values were already supposed to be inflated, so this seems like a set up for a great fall. Either way, I'm a buy and hold investor so I'll ride this out and hope stock market history continues the upward trajectory. Hopefully, THIS Republican administration doesn't end in a a recession or economic collapse, but history tells us it's a feature of their administrations.
