kick shows his ignorance when he doesn't like a fighter. To think Nick Diaz is not a top ten fighter and say he isn't even a top 20 fighter is laughable.
yep........actually only thing Diaz is top 10 for sure is being an asshole.
Diaz ain't top 10 in anything else....good win beating Zaro though, he finally beat a good fighter.....I give him props for that.
But Diaz isn't even close to Fitch, Alves, GSP, Hardy, or Paulo Thiago.

i was breaking ur balls when i said that. you are serious when u say he isnt in the top 20. I would say that gsp wouldnt walk right thru him tho and styles make fights and Diaz style would give gsp fits just like it does everyone else.

This fight only confirmed how good Diaz is. Actually, it looks like he's added some power to his already fantastic standup, and of course, his ground game still is second to none.
I'd love to see him fight the champ. He'd give him all he wanted, and Diaz would have an answer to his lay-n-pray.

I wouldn't take Fitch over him either. I like Fitch and he has the beard to stay with Diaz but his face would get smashed like Shamrocks. Anyone think that Nick doesn't have power needs to reevaluate. those are not those pitty pat punches his brother throws. That one shot to the body crippled the Russian. Him working on that leg was brilliant and when the russian threw the kick after that even Tommy speers could have stopped it. I never thought he was in any trouble at all. Sure he went down but he was in no serious trouble.
Lawler made me some nice cash but Zaromskis not so much.

I had a minor family emergency and missed the fights and have yet to see them.
From hearing you guys and reading results it sounds like Lawler was getting worked over until Melvin did something stupid again and got caught. :142smilie

i`d say lawler`s k.o. ranks right up there with smith`s broken rib hail mary shot on sell....it was that unbelievable...i`m a lawler admirer..but those kicks were brutal...
manhoef`s an offensive machine....unfortunately,there`s more to the game than that...and that`s what makes it so interesting...
and seriously...people forget...diaz is twenry f-cking six years old....twenty six!! ..

Diaz is getting better and better. I would love to see if his length could give GSP any problems. He really is becoming the total package as far as a fighter goes. I'm not saying he's the best but very complete standing and on the ground.
I guess I see the Lawler fight differently than most. I thought he had a strategy and worked it to perfection. I don't think he thought the leg kicks would do what they did but he said in his interview that Melvin dropped his hands when he would go in to finish people and that's what he was waiting for. Besides the leg kicks I don't think Lawler was in any trouble. At anytime during that fight he could have taken it to the ground if he wanted to and taken his leg away from being kicked.
