I am hesitantly backing Zaromskis here for a small play
he's the guy they want to win
but i have concerns about it hitting the mat
i think zaromskis is the better striker with the better chin and will less mileage

Here is a recent photo of 170 pound Cyborg

Interesting to see weigh-in today

Like you guys said

i watched the guy fight manhoef at(i`m guessing) 185?......he looked like a rock....imo,that extra 15 pounds will have to be muscle...

it`s a tough cut...his first at 170,i believe...

i have zaromskis in a small par...but i feel a slight change in this year`s positive mojo.....

the guy(santos) is tough and usually competitive...but nearly always falls short vs better competition....

question is,does zaromskis fill the bill?....his head kicks are a big part of his arsenal...will he be able to use them without ending up on his back?....

i felt it was worth a small shot given the weight cut...but not as a straight wager...

btw...anybody have an opinion on prangley/kennedy?...man,that`s a toughy...

Gonna have to copy Kickserv on this card:

Parlay:
Babalu over Lawler
Zaromskis over Cyborg
100 wins 216

The only question in the Zaromskis fight is when it ends.
Babalu fights smart then he will get Lawler to thre ground and just point him out if he doesn't submit him.
Worried about Babalu's chin which is why he better get it to the ground.

This is coming for a big Babalu fan, I think he's going down. I don't see him taking Lawler down. I think he'll get worked over standing up and even if he doesn't get KO'd he's going to get beat up. IMO Lawler should have quite a bit more speed than him.

Lawler -135 1unit

I'll update my record later, I lost a little on Sat night so I'm not sure what it is currently.

Good Luck boys!

who has elephant balls?....

who has the stones to throw down a pick on prangley vs kennedy?....

prangley`s naturally bigger....stronger..probably the better wrestler....but he`s older and took the fight on short notice...he doesn`t lose very often...split with chael sonnen and lost to jorge santiago.sobral, jeremy hoen and some dude named hattingh(early in his career...a head scratcher)...wins over sonnen, yuki kondo and travis lutter....

kennedy has split 2 fights with mayhem miller and beaten nick 'the goat" thompson...his other loss was via cut in his 1st fight vs scott smith(tough way to cut your teeth)...younger by 4 years...

tough, tough call...i could see prangley potentially controlling kennedy from the top,but that ain`t easy as kennedy is a damned good grappler himself....

i believe that prangley was an olympic alternate wrestler for south africa......

Prangley vs. Kennedy is a tough one

When I quickly break down the fight I see the following advantages

Prangley: Wrestling, Power, experiance, Height and reach

Kennedy: Striking, speed, more well rounded, Youth (30 to 37), submissions, Cardio

Both are hard fighters to stop. I can't see Prangley knocking out or submitting Kennedy. I think TK is more likely to stop Prangley but I don't see it.

Prangley will control the fight in the first round and then becomes a game of cardio. If his gas tanks holds up he will take a decision win.

Keys to the fight for Prangley: Wrestling and Cardio. If he is to win he needs to keep Kennedy tied up. For Kennedy if he can use movement to gas out Prangley he could get the win. Kennedy has also only recently committed himself to MMA fulltime so he is still improving. Prangley is only going to get worse from here on

Having said that I fancy Prangley to win the decision

Did I mention Strikeforce puts on entertaining cards.

Great first round.
Love how Heun took the action to him on the ground.
Very aggresive.
