From the Aliens review:

"I think it's supposed to be Scotland."

"Then something happened, I don't know what, I wasn't really listening."

"But fuckin' watch this. This part is fucked up, me and my mate stopped talkin' when this came on because it literally eats its way out of her tits."

Only had time for the first one, but that IS some funny shit.
A "reviewer" doing a running commentary and repeatedly adding, "I don't know, I wasn't watching" is a surrealistic shit ton of understated sublimity.
I'll be back for the rest, try to do one a day.
Thanks.

In a perfect world they wouldn't be needed and thankfully through new legislation, websites must renew their agreements with everyone and that is why we have seen so many, please allow these cookies on sites that you have visited lately.

Read the small print especially on sites you've never visited before. Those geniuses at Southpark nailed it in an episode that I'm now too old to remember but it was IPhone or Apple related.

Things to be concerned about are data breaches of sensitive information. Places you allow to keep your information should at least have a good record of protecting data.

So now I'll try to give a few examples or reasons why you might consider allowing 3rd party tracking.

Some people actually buy things online that pop up from advertisements. Whether they need it or not, it is an effective way for advertisers to reach interested parties. A side effect of that fact is that most of the internet and sites have remained free to users to visit and browse, including the giant, Youtube, Meta, X & whatever other ones you might ticky tocky too. They get paid by those 3rd parties and keep it free for all of us to waste time on.

Using a hypothetical example from MJ's. Imagine kickserv likes to view porn that fictionally depicts intercourse between a mother and a son. The site that he allows cookies to be stored then shows him examples of mommy snuggle porn when he signs on without him having to go search for it. Hypothetically, he likes that. Thanks to the 3rd party cookies, they don't show him blue pills, only growing devices and Canadian psychologists in the greater Toronto area. Hypothetically.

That's about it for good reasons.

The one I hate more than 3rd party cookies are the damn listening devices, I was with a client and she told me about imemories to convert and store physical pictures into digital form. I didn't have my computer or anything else on me except my phone. Went back to the office, opened up my computer and there is an ad for imemories on Facebook. I hate that they are always listening.

The biggest concern to me is China. The TikTok & The TEMU both scare me enough that I've stayed away from them because they want my data and I don't trust them with it. That is probably how this all plays out, don't give someone information (Accepting 3rd party cookies) if you are worried that your information could be used for bad reasons. I don't even allow 1st party cookies with them.

You and I may see politics differently but the 1st & 4th amendments are just as important to both of us. I think this analogy is pertinent. If a police officer asks to search your car, you don't have to allow the search thanks to the 4th amendment yet some people do allow the search because, "I have nothing to hide." That would be accepting a 1st party cookie.

Well, while that Cop is searching your car, a Samaritan walks up and asks to search your car. Would you allow them? If your answer is no, then you probably don't want to allow the 3rd party cookies.

Not sure if your post was a gotcha question or if the youtube videos I imbedded popped up a 3rd party cookie request when you visited the site. If so, I apologize but the fact that you and I are pretty close to being on the same side here should give hope for humanity.
