scott....i didn`t mean it as a shot at ibragimov.....my friend was right.....the guy resembles a sort of composite of fred and barney....

doesn`t mean he can`t fight....he can...but,that size difference and klit`s straight punching will make it very difficult for ibrag.....this isn`t ray austin he`s fighting....

from what i`m reading, lots of lean toward ibragimov tonight....he has to figure out a way to get through the first 6 or 7 rounds without getting punished and take klit into deep water and drown him....

there is a danger that ibrag gets stopped early...
but, given the fact that klit occassionally wets the bed, i`m waiting for next week...

g.l. with the wager...

What is going on with the line on this fight?? One local has Wlad -300 Sultan+250...another has it Wlad-600 Sultan+450....I figure 1500 on Wlad to win 500 and 500 to win 2250 on Sultan....free shot at 750, anybody else have this situation?

Guess I made the assumption with the Vegas moniker. Finding bookies with those kind of disparities is a huge benefit. When I was back east we did'nt have that kind of opportunity, especially when it came to boxing. Also when a guy says "local" books, I figure them to be out here in Nevada. Last nite a "local"-Stations had Ibrag+350 while 5Dimes had Klits-300. Tiny limits offshore make this just so lucrative but I grabbed some anyway. Scott-if you cooked that mess I would eat out more often!

Central Jersey,Old Bridge Township....sorry about the confusion. McVegas just looks better than McAC, besides when I think of gambling, I think of Las Vegas, not Atlantic City (shithole by the sea).

A disappointing effort by Iggy. He was unable to even get inside at all vs Wlad.

I am sure the game plan was for Wlad not to take chances throwing the right hand and bang at Iggy with the strong jab. Klit can pretty much win any fight just using the jab. He took away the only chance Iggy had to counter.

Also the slap down of Iggys jab was a thing of beauty. He continued doing it over the course of the fight and it was very disconcerting to Iggy.

Got to hand it to Wlad, he is very composed and will be a hard opponant to defeat as he goes foward to unify the heavyweight division.

The one thing that was very strange to me in this fight was how Iggy's corner gave him almost no
direction. They were silent. wtf

When Manny told Klit to go for the KO or they would look bad, I think it had more to do with inspiring Klit to fight hard until the end so as not to let the rounds slip for the decision.

Big dog, 1300 to win over 5 k.

It was worth the chance for me.
