The fact that you could care less that MJ's is turning into a whorehouse says a lot about your character. I Absolutely do care, if that makes me a Pussy, or a jilted junior high girl, then I wear it as a badge of honor. No ill will to you either. Btw I could care less if people pay for plays, I do however care that the touts advertise for free using other members threads to gloat and horn blow their own records. Nobody likes seeing it, but only a few have the balls to speak out against it. I love this site, I've been a member since Gatorbait and barfly invited me to join about 15 years ago, and in the beginning Jack would never of allowed this to happen, I know things change, but what's right is still right and wrong is still wrong. These members turned service touts that try and drum up business in these sleazy ways should be confined to the service threads PERIOD. No room for their antics in the free forums. Of course senor shit-stains doesn't agree with me and will call me a pussy or sleazy$$$$ for speaking out against his agenda. I think a lot of people don't speak out against it because they have liked the guy for many years and it doesn't affect their lives, very similar to the R. Kelly scenario. Few have spoke out against him but many feel the same way and are afraid to say anything.
There are 17 ads on this page. I purposely counted them. Otherwise, I really don't notice them.
I was really pissed too, when Jack allowed these guys to sell their picks. I even logged out for a few months. But, I learned to accept that Jack owns the place, and it's how he earns a living.
As it's been, I don't even notice a difference. I'm not getting emails about their services, and don't look for their stuff.

Maybe you should start a service now and charge for your plays, then go into other members threads and post your winning records, and keep quiet when you lose. That's how they do it these days, I hear.
For some reason, I bet they pay the networks to advertise on those channels... I wonder if touts pay Jack to advertise within members threads?? But very nice try yyz. If those commercials bother you, you should switch channels is my advice. But honestly I love those commercials. I understand you have an opinion on the touts advertising within threads, that is very different then my opinion. When i see something that is blatantly wrong, I speak out against it. I think what gives people heartburn is when a guy goes pay and then disappears from the site, except to pop in and shill when the service selections are going well. There has been a twenty-year parade of guys going pay after some success at Madjacks. Guys who were well respected posters for many years, with great write-ups and more Ws than Ls. Then *poof* it's gone and get out your checkbook. The camaraderie and interaction is no more. Most guys just leave forever -- except for kneifl and gibber -- so this services forum is kind of a smoky backroom off the site.

It's like a pass rusher who makes a sack and beats his chest, high-stepping down the field even though his team trails by 21 points. Act like you been there. When you go back to the old bar and the guys don't like your fancy new clothes, don't call them pussy or idiot. We've seen this show before: I'm on a 13-2-1 run! I'm 9-0 in preseason. That's what touts do; they take a small sample and try to sell that as a representative swath of their service's success.

A person of character would have sent an email/message to the owner of the site stating that he felt there was an issue not hammer away his opinion in a Thread looking to stir shit up.
A person of character would have let the owner of the site handle the situation the way he felt is necessary and in his best interest, not call him out on the carpet as you've done multiple times the last few days....Knowing Jack he would handle this situation in private as it should be, he doesn't owe you any explanation, period.
A person of character wouldn't be judging others on how their opinions are wrong and how they lack character....

Very well stated. I don't have a problem with Senor Capper. But the fact is, he only comes on here when he is on a run boasting about being 8-0-1 or whatever the number is during the run. As he did recently. And I believe that he did do that. However, one person on here, who I also believe, said that he is 58% in all sports, because he uses his service. Not a bad record. But we sure as hell didn't see him on here when he went 0 for whatever number he also must have gone, did we? At 58%, he has plenty of losses to offset those fancy numbers that are always posted on here. JMO...
If you're gonna lick your nuts, be ready to take the bad with the good....No one would put up with a regular, free handicapper coming on here touting that he went 10-0 when in actuality, it was 13-10 over 23 picks. He'd be vilified, and rightfully so.

I'm not defending any "tout", never paid for a service never will. I have never met SC nor have I spoken with him.
My issue with you is you had two choices, 1) send a message to the owner of the site with your concerns. 2) Make it public and rant over n over how it is wrong., still can't see how you have been harmed in any way over this but keep fighting the good fight.
You have no idea if or how Jack has handled this, it may have been done already in private....Either way it's Jack's decision on what to do, not yours...You may have the "balls" to speak up but you don't have the say on how the situation is handled.
Hope you grabbed the Purdue pick, I think it's a winner :shrug:
