Evenly-contested Super Bowls can often come down to a play or two that tips the scale in one team's favor. And when it comes to special teams, the Panthers have a big edge. Ted Ginn Jr.'s impact as a wide receiver this season has been huge (his 10 touchdowns speak for themselves). But Ginn's punt-return prowess could provide an edge in the field position game. He averaged 10.3 yards per return this year, and in six games he had over 30 yards on punt returns. And that's significant because in five games he had no returns at all.

best of luck scott Im obviously a big panther and cam fan but I took the points after watching the line play out the last three weeks. but here in Carolina the line is juiced and my local was grateful to give me the broncos +7, so ill root for a 6 point panther win.

btw, I always smile when I read the Tyson quote in your byline. I put Tyson up there with Muhammad ali in terms of greatness in his prime. I started boxing as a boy in Louisville ky in the early 60's when a young cassius clay could be easily viewed training on any given day, and developed an admiration for the sport then that continues to this day, despite the decline of professional boxing that we are subjected to today. but Tyson's quote captures the epitome of the mental aspect of the sport (and all sport for that matter) of courage in the face of defeat that lifts a competitor above his physical limitations. i was always amazed that something so profound could come from his lips.

good luck today.

oo000 by the way Cams stats 35 TD's only 10 interceptions

vs 9- and 17 Manning hmmmmmmmmmmmm plus +++25 vs - 8 yup thats factor that might be margin of victory ooooooooooooooooo my gawd it's 17 25- 8 = 17

I predicted a 17 point margin of victory for Panthers

FACT no TEAM THAT finsihed NEGATIVE IN to'S HAS EVER WON A BOWL EVEN IF TEAM WAS A FLAT ZERO IN TO MARGIN AS denver WAS VS SEAHWKS WHO WERE PLUS 20 IN TO'S

Panthers Defense is equal to denver they have 35 takeaways in season and ranked 6th best in defense scoring.

Denver was outgained by almost every opponent in yards

superbowl Champs have all had 35 yrds plus for every game in season Denver was way under that total i think at 17 yards plus per game.

BOL on donkeys and manning .

I also predict Manning goes down in 1st half .........

He is a statue back there and that foot injury is still affecting his game.

I live in Carolina but do not root for a thief like Newton. The better team and the much better QB won. The thug lost. Even Superman can have a bad day.
