Some thoughts but more later....
Planet Hollywood - I have stayed there more than any other place in Vegas going all the way back to the Aladdin days. I love the location and CET treats me right with room comps, food comps, the Diamond lounges, and more. The VP poker pay lines at CET properties suck but you can still find select machines that are playable but I'll try to stick with downtown for my VP. Planet Hollywood plays the music way too fucking loud and I can't take it anymore. For now on if I stay at CET properties I'll try Caesars or Cromwell, 2 places I never stayed before and both have good location.
Bellagio - Class. Period. Decent VP pay lines at all the bars, quality drinks in quality glasses made by quality bartenders. They even comps me cigarettes playing VP at the bars.
The D downtown. I'll never go in there ever again. You/I think the music is loud at Planet Hollywood? The D is off the map. Fuck that place.
Main Street Station - They changed their pay lines on Boars Head bar but I guess they are still playable. They have 2 deck pitch 3/2 BJ on the main floor a major plus but they still hit soft 17.
Pizza Rock - First time was great, the second time was above average, this time sucked. Maybe I don't know what to order but I'm officially done with that place and they charge too much anyway.
Mob Museum - It was okay I guess and I wouldn't mind going again when it's not busy. The place was mobbed and it was hot in there. Not a very good experience at all. I couldn't wait to get out of there. They encourage taking lots of pictures, something that I was looking forward to do but taking pictures of pictures? Nah. I will go again if I'm bored and there's nobody else in there.
Peppermill - Still my favorite breakfast spot in Vegas and my favorite bar in the United States. great tunes with the videos at a perfect volume level and the best VP pay lines in Vegas. I just love that place. And with Uber in Vegas now there's no problem at all getting out of there. I used Uber for the first time and he was there in 3 minutes and the ride was free thanks to Dunclock.
Westgate - The best sportsbook IMO, decent VP paylines, and good BJ rules. Very generous with the comps too. I never stayed there but I try to make a stop there every trip. It's become a tradition for me and sixfive (add Dr Feelgood the last 2 times) to start our hit and run casino crawl from there and work our way up to the strip from there. One of my favorite activities for a full night of gambling.
SLS - Quiet place, nice treatment from the dealers and pit and I've never lost playing BJ there. I will be making that a must stop from here on out as well.
Venetian/Palazzo - I don't know why I got away from this property in recent years. I used to stay there all the time and I think that's going to be my new home in Vegas. The rooms are nice and best standard rooms of any that I have stayed at. Rooms aren't that important to me when staying in Vegas but my mind can be changed. The BJ is the best that I have found on the strip. They have 2 deck pitch that pays 3/2 and they stay on soft 17. Those are thee best rules for BJ and I will try to give them all or most of my BJ play for now on.
