I probably will drive it. My normal route, thru Kansas City and then the southern track thru Flagstaff on I-40, is only 3050 miles...

There are a lot of "IFS" of course.

- My wife might not want to fly alone out there on the 3rd, then I can't do it.
- Not sure when you plan to go but I'd go with you (maybe) if our ETA in Vegas is the 31st or 1st or even earlier.
- Indiana is on the way, right? 70W

Yes! Having company and sharing expenses would be nice! My schedule is completely open, no matter to me when I leave, arrive, or taking time for slight detours to IN towns....
