fantastic most regular folks cannot get tickets to any super bowl because the corporations gobble them all up
bunch of fat cat rich pricks that wouldnt give you the time of day
have a great time and enjoy the experience
Not entirely true.
For those who care :
*Super Bowl participating teams teams share 35%
? 17.5% are given to each team, with the majority of them given to season ticket holders & players (mostly players and maybe 2% of that 17.5% goes to the STH).
*Remaining 29 teams share 34.8%
? 1.2% for each team distributed to players, media, partners etc.
*NFL league offices retains 25.2%
? tickets are typically sold to partners, media and sponsors.
The tickets you see for resale are almost entirely coming from players, coaches, and agents. The players have the option to get 2 free, then pay face value on up to 13 tickets. I was actually at dinner Monday night with a friend who just got back from meeting a player in his car to buy tickets from him. The stories I can tell and the shit I see are incredible.
Anwyays, Betone, your story is amazing. I'm happy you got to experience this. I was down in Miami, and I wish I had seen your post sooner. I could've got you those Upper EndZone seats mid-January for $4500 tops. For anyone reading this, feel free to PM me in the future.
