Pitt gets ball in 2h, so Seattle just didn't want to give them the ball with any time on the clock..
I think they want to set up a long FG w/o giving up field position. I thought they'd run the ball there to do it, with that strategy.
whether or not they didn't want to give the ball back, that was a horrible end of the half by SEA

Sea can complain about the terrible call for the TD, but they had great field position the whole half and came away with 3 points. I also thought the offensive pass interference call on the Jackson TD was bogus, but there has been plenty of time to make up for that.
And then terrible management to leave a timeout out there, and have to kick a 54 yarder to end the half.

to me the ball crossed gl by 2 inches then pushed back--no way they could overule on field call IMHO
