I believe the Chiefs are the most direct competition for the Steelers this weekend unless I missed something. If the Chiefs win and the Steelers lose, the Chiefs would be in and the Steelers on the outs.

Hey canabiz ... our we pick the Monday night game every week and whoever has the most right of those remaning wins the tie-breaker. I am currently in 3rd out of those remaining so I would need both of them to lose. It sucks. I would much rather have split as well. If I "survive" and get nothing, it may frustrate me into not participating next year.

Lightning, if the Chargers win on Saturday then the Steelers would be win. This is straight from NFL.com's Week 17 Playoff scenarios

Now i don't know if Joey and the Leos can pull out an upset in the friendly confines of Heinz Field but it is something to keep in mind. Plan B for me would be Tampa Bay who needs a win to get in the playoff

That would really suck cause I already used Tampa Bay. I think plan B for me would be trying to pick the winner of the Texans/49ers game... :scared

well, I lost with STL.... very very mad. Even wrote the email to change it to Miami and at the last second decided not to send it.

Here is my advice for those who can win money with a win this week..... TAKE THE ML on the team you are going against that will equal your payout. For example, we have 25 people left for $6800, that is about $250 per person. Let's say you take TB in your pool. Money line will be about + $400 for NO. If you bet $70 on NO, you will win $250. If NO wins, you win $250. If TB wins, you win $180. I think those numbers are a lot better than $250 or ZERO.

Best scenario, people in your pool lose and you win more money. Worst case scenario, your team loses but you still get your payout.

Interesting idea there snoozer. I have 15 folks left in my pool including myself and the pot is $18K so assuming everyone survives, I would get about $1,200

But I don't think i saved Pitt and/or Tampa for Week 17 and to expect them to lose S/U to the Lions and the homeless Saints. But you are right, better be safe than sorry...i need to look into this further to see what kind of moohlahs i need to put down for those dogs to win...
