i'm not a kerry lover or a kerry basher, but those fitness reports are not too glowing. the insight into fitness reports given in the explanatory introduction is pretty much accurate.
isnt this photo being used by Kerry for campaigning? if so why in the world would you use it; if most of the people think you are unfit to serve as President? it doesn't make any sense.
I personally saw 14 of Senator Kerry s2 Swift crews yesterday in Boston supporting him fully. The only one missing was Steve Gardner who is referred to above. Doesn't make much sense, but 14 of the 2 crews that served under him support him.
Ever wonder why the recriprocal question isn't asked of the other party? How many of the girlie girls that hid behind their mom's aprons in GWB's Texas guard unit support him? Heck, they can't even find one that remembers his sorry butt.
Or how many of the guys that also got 7 deferrments support Chenney? Questions sound sort of stupid when they're asked of the chickenhawk led Republican party don't they? Well, why aren't they asked? Guess it's all that fair and balanced stuff again.

my Gramps fought in the Pacific Theatre
several years ago he had a stroke and needed to live with assisted living....well my family cleaned out the house....and in it we found letters in the attic for 2 bronze stars which he never requested.....til his death he never mentioned a word of what he did except that he never sent in for those stars because he felt the rest of his men deserved them if he did...thus he didnt want them
contrast this with John Kerry who takes a camcorder and re-enacts things he does....and applies for every sort of award you can get....then trashes them when he gets home and disgraces Americans still risking their lives in the heat of battle....aiding and abetting the enemy....

agreed totally freeze, that generation was completely different. But wasn't that gw in the flight suit with the socks crammed in the crotch on the carrier proclaiming war over. I recall see that add again and again and again. Until it was discovered regarding his service.
Kudos on your grandpa. America was built on men of courage like him. GWB received no awards and did not serve in our active military. He was 'awarded' (as usual) a spot in the Texas state guard. He trained to fly a plane that had already been decommissioned and was never going to be used in any military theater, neither were any of the pilots. GWB then refused to take a physical (drug testing) and was not allowed to even fly this antiquated bird around. He soon deserted and never reported to his new command after requesting a transfer.

what GWB did is an issue about as much as you liberals considered Clintons....neither made a big deal about it....
