man o man.....that was fun. not when i thought we lost....but wow. sure glad there's no 10 sec runoff in the ncaa. awfully smart of the leader TJ Yates to snap the ball and spike it anyway with 1 sec leftBray wouldnt have done that.....the in experience showed when the $$ was on the line but he has a bright future

I also wonder why they ran clock before the snap with 26 seconds left after the personal foul penalty.

I honestly don't know what the hell happened on that last play. Great call to run it and pick up 6-8 more yards for the FG.
Play ends with what, 13 sec's left. Yates is immediately getting everyone to the line. They had to have known this coming out of the huddle, even if they get a 1st down.
Seemed like the ref took way too long to spot it, Draughns was slow to get up, everyone looked confused EXCEPT YATES, and then half the fucking FG team trots out as if they can line up and snap it in like 5 seconds.

At one time there was 18 players from NC on the field on the last play.
Why did the coaches even allow the FG team to go on? After the run one player went on the field and it looked like he just went out on his own without being told and then the other players just followed suit. It was mass confusion.
If coaches dont learn from this debacle and the LSU/Tenn debacle they will never ever get it.

Here is where the refs fawked it up. When Yates snapped the ball, the damn FG kicker and holder where behind him!! The rule states that the umpire has to stand over the ball and allow the defense enough time to substitute; thus the umpire should not have allowed the ball to be snapped.
When the kicker and holder came out, the umpire should have stood over the ball and allowed for UT to have enough time to substitute their FG block team. Then, the time would have run out.
You cannot have a play where you have the QB at the line of scrimmage, a FG kicker, a holder, and three other players running in and off the field!
It is funny in a way, because of the LSU game; I think it hurt UT in this one. They stayed put where if they would have sent their FG block team out when they saw the kicker, they probably win the game - because maybe that would have forced the umpire to stand over the ball.
