Teams that need one or two wins to be bowl eligible.
Remember I am not including teams that already are bowl eligible or are out of the picture for a bowl game.
This is something to watch over the last few weeks of the season when picking games. I thought this might be useful. Hope this helps. I will update this thread each week.

Conf./ team/ record/ games remaining

ACC - G. Tech 6-5 ? Georgia
Virginia 6-5 ? Va.Tech
Wake Forest 6-5 ? Maryland

Big East ? Syracuse 5-5 ? Rutgers, ND

I heard (haven't confirmed) that the line on S. Carolina's game this week is Florida -7, which would put the ML at somewhere around -300 or -330 for Florida.

Although I rarely lay this much juice, I am going to POUND Florida on the ML this week. It will probably be my biggest play of the year. I rarely bet on/for S. Carolina b/c anyone who follows them closely will tell you that they are a hard team to win on consistently. Sometimes they play incredible, and sometimes they play horrible. That being said, there is no way S. Carolina beats Florida this week... NO WAY. S. Carolina has not beaten Florida since joining the SEC, and win #1 isn't going to come this week. Our team has been playing flat ever since the OT loss at Tennessee, and that comes straight out of the mouth of one of our players. Our defense is playing as bad as I have ever seen them play, and I can tell you that the mood here in Columbia is doom and gloom. I realize that S. Carolina only needs 1 win to be bowl eligible, but once again, it isn't happening this week. We may play well and hang in there, or we may get totally devestated. The bottom line is that WE WILL NOT WIN.

Florida ML -300 or -330 *Top play*

p.s. I'll keep my ears and eyes open this week, so if anything drastic happens I'll let everyone know. Good luck.

Wouldn't that be odd to see Texas in the Rose Bowl.

Question to the board. Have any of you seen a 6-6 team get a bowl bid over the years? I have yet to research it but will later in the week. The reason I ask is because even though ND has been downright awful this year, they should beat BYU at home this Saturday and then after the bye week they can beat Stanford. Last game of the year they go on the road to SU and that will be a tough place to win but if they run the table over the last 3 games they would end up 6-6. So if you any of you know if a team has got a bowl invite going 6-6 please post here. That is all I am looking for. I don't want this thread spinning out into another stupid USC debate, because it seems we are all threatened by USC. At least that is what we are told.
