Mantle stuff would be equally desirable as Splinter stuff--maybe more so.
Just guessing, but $200-$400 if in good condition with a beauty signature.
....

Money is far from everything.

I'll post a display, either way.

It's a beauty sig....no certificate...golf tournie items from a South Western Bell chairity event in the late 80's...I beleive it to be the real deal...also have a Wille Mays, Joe Carter & Brent Kemnitz!

True story....

Wichita State won the College World Series..(88 or89) and I'm running a bar a mile from campus.

Eric Wedge, Mike Lansing and another player are in the bar at close...wasn't Driefort.

Shuffle board and beer later....Wedge tells me once he is drafted...he'll come back and sign rookie cards for me.....which he did!!!

Final card Wedge is signing He asks. "How would you like me to sign this....?" I answered.."My Bat is bigger than my Unit."

He laughed and signed 'Eric Wedge'.....that card would have been priceless :mj07:

They aren't worth what they were in the 90's but the signed balls held up better than the cards. I have a few of each, Mantle, Dimaggio, Williams.

I imagine around $200 each

My best ball but prob not worth as much as those above is the (4) 20 game winning pitchers on same team in the same season all on 1 ball. Palmer, Mcnally, Dobson and Cuellar.

I have Mussina, Griffey, Clemens, Brooks, Boog, hell so many I would have to dig them out to remember.

my dad had several thousand in baseball collectibles, I'm not positive, but I would think strongly mantle, Williams & DiMaggio signed official balls, graded by a reputable service would be worth considerably more than 200.
And Jack, that Orioles 4 (20 game) winner ball is a interesting piece. Probably not accomplished again in our lifetime.

There aren't many, if any, of those around :)

That Ted Williams auto poster will only fetch about $150 if you're lucky. I just checked ebay completed auctions.

His signed ball maybe $200.

Mantle and Dimaggio balls closer to $350 if you're lucky.

Take this stuff to Pawn Stars and you might get a Downtown Vegas Breakfast Buffet :sadwave:

Rick: Whaddya got there?

Jack: These are my signed baseballs.

Rick: What are you looking to get out of them?

Jack: Well, they are worth between $50 and $200 each and I have about 12 of them. Uh....I don't know, $800 for the lot?

Rick: Uh, how about no. (Laughs)

Jack: Well, what do you think I could get?

Rick: How about I take you out back, kick you in the balls and I will take your balls and we will call it even?

Jack: Yeah, I guess so - that's why I came to Vegas anyway. Might as well get what I came for.

in the final years of his life, Ted s son had him signing morning noon and night. This dramatically effected his pieces. As fate came around as it so often does, the kid died of cancer barely 30 years of age. Of course this was after the kid froze him and had him Decapitate Etc.

Maybe the Only Thing Williams Liked Better Than Baseball Was Fishing. Many like Curt Gowdy Said He Was One of Best Fishermen on the Planet. I Saw Him at a Fishing Exhibition Repeatedly Cast into a Basket from 20/30 Yards Away. He Loved Fishing in Your Neck of the Woods. And Actually Wanted His Ashes Spread There, before His Kid Took Hold of Things.
I Went to His Baseball Camp Ages 8-13, Got to Meet Him a Couple Times, and Later Met Him at His Place in Hernando.
True American Hero. You Ever Met Him?
