--having they caught you flip flopping in same speech--and as I remarked last week seems kerry had "another" interview with Fox yesterday on Colmes without Hannity- show ;)-can't say I blame him. Unbelievable this clown almost became president.

Kerry Critique

In his speech Thursday, John Kerry criticized the Bush administration for failing to heed the advice of the now departed Army Chief of Staff General Eric Shinseki (search), who said the Iraq operation would require more troops than the Pentagon had committed. They should have listened to him, Kerry said, "They chose not to. They were wrong."

Later in the speech, Kerry approvingly quoted Army General George Casey (search) who said our large military presence "feeds the notion of occupation? and ?extends the amount of time that it will take for Iraqi security forces to become self-reliant." Added Kerry, "It is essential to acknowledge that the insurgency will not be defeated unless our troop levels are drawn down."

As Opinionjournal.com noted, Kerry seems in his speech to have been for more troops before he was against them.

Or is he saying we needed more to start with. And if we had we would now need less for job would be closer to done. At least seems every general you here in front of a mike say this but one. That is the one still left behind running the show. And we all know he has to follow the script. But these general do seem to say other things once moved on. I think there is no question they needed more to start with. To march into Baghdad was a walk in the park to what has happen since. And that comes from no border control.

Maybe he could could get a adminstration position in W's house of clowns because it sounds like he would fit right in with the liars that are employed there now!

well I'll be dipped in shit if the wind isn't blowing ANOTHER direction today-- :yup

MoveOn.org said it was organizing more than a thousand vigils involving tens of thousands of people across the country and it appealed to supporters to donate $150,000 to air an anti-war TV ad.

Its Web site listed 23 events in the Los Angeles area alone, mostly small groups of people gathering for candlelight vigils in parks, public places, in people's homes or on street corners, to read poetry, sing songs and observe a moment of silence to remember the fallen.

Massachusetts Democratic Sen. John Kerry, who lost to Bush in last year's presidential election, called for 20,000 troops to be brought home over the Christmas holidays.

---ah yes John "Christmas" brings back memories you spent in cambodia that were "SEARED" in your mind
--but proven utterly false. :)

Sounds like you are WANTING to read that as a flip-flop. Definitely sounds like we was saying more forces were needed for initial occupation and quelling of insurgents - but ultimately Iraq would never be self sufficient unless we phase out our military presence. Pretty obvious and uninteresting comments at this point.
