I do like totals Dog Lover cuz for me it's easier to see the numbers and potential for ov/unders.
I can look at these things on a Sunday when there's only 10 gms and I notice some teams that stand out to me like Temp/Memp yday.
that win y'day was an "Over" w/2 mins left and went over by 14 or so, certain coaches and matchups play the same way against each other
when they meet.. or sometimes it's always an 'Over' at team A.. and often an 'Under' when playing at team B..
With these rosters, Memphis doesn't wanna slow it down EVER and neither does Temple and their L3 meetings showed me that
I just don't know what other cappers like Bad Angel and Jord and Bombs do in their "capping techniques".
Do they use sites like KenPom or other "power rating" type sites and go strictly off of those?
on a 50-75 game Saturday/Wed/Thu what do these cappers look at and which stats are the important ones for them.. ?

The Last few Years I've been very good at capping in the Mountain West conf., there was a LOT of continuity in their rosters and I got to watch
them play against my Aztecs (San Diego St) home/away for L3-4 years.
I had a VERY good handle on relative strength and home/away matchups.
HOWEVER
this year, almost all the starters from the top 8 teams or so in MW conf have graduated or 'transfer portaled' OUT of the conf...
so it's a LOT of UNKNOWNS w/these players! Including my Aztecs!! It's a rebuilding year for most ALL the Conference!
So much stronger LAST YEAR! These younger players are mostly still INCONSISTENT and therefore difficult to assess for me.
And I believe it's quite possible the SAME Situation for a MAJORITY of the schools as the "Extra Years" players were given due to Covid
have finally expired!
I hope to find out from BA (as it seems Jord gets pestered enough by others lol) what he uses for his 'capping as he is very consistent and almost always UP!
I'd like to find a solid, relatively simple way to 'cap sides, I certainly know very little about the "small schools" this year
anyway.. GLAD you got that one Yesterday with me!!
