Georgia is coming off a HUGE win at Alabama, IMO they are still overrated, i see Tenn. dominating the dawgs here, anyone else agree?????

Tennessee

Awfully tough emotionally for Tennessee to go 6ot's and come back and play on the road against a Georgia team who beat a tough Alabama team.

after last years 7 OTs

after last years 7 OTs

the following week:

arky barely beat UCF at home ...

Ole miss missed cover by 17...

Cuse came back this year after grueling 3 OT @ auburn and got crushed by Pitt

be careful, + Tenn is not even close to as good as anyone predicted

I took Ga. +1.5 last week, might buy big middle +3 ... but i think Ga. will win anyway ... where have Vols looked good this year?

Florida? Rutgers? Arky? (are their last 3 and that is how they are playing as we speak)

Ga. might be OR, lotsa teams seem to get tagged with that, but road will be no picnic for Vols

I don't like Tenn at all. They looked awful against Florida, were losing at halftime to Rutgers, then have a non-covering win in 6 OTs vs Arkansas. I would have to take the under on this one as well, esp with Georgia also coming off the hard fought win.

Tenn. by 2.5? not even close. Get on the dogs at - 2.5 that is crazy. Tenn is looking horrible and their confidence is crap after the 6 OT nailbiter with ark. Georgia is 5-0 and want to keep this going. Gibson is on fire, anything close to him is a gimme and musa is fired up on the ground. Sford stadium is gonna be loud and with dogs at home maybe a blowout. I think this line is going to move close to -7 by game time. I'm getting on it now.

Go dogs!!!!!! :thefinger

there's no way the line moves to 7. i think it hovers all week at 3-4. I am one of the guys who took bama heavy last week, but one good thing came from that loss. A new found respect for the dawgs. I think GA lays it on tenn. Tenn can't seem to run the ball, and if GA can stop bama, i definitely think they can stop tenn. Clausen isn't going to beat GA by himself, and k. washington can be stopped. Ga is the early lean, as UGA hasn't seen this since 1980 and the crowd will be insane.

I got down on Georgia -1 1/2

Georgia has played a much tougher schedule, is at home, and has a chance to win the SEC.

I'm looking for real smash-mouth football in this game.

what???

what???

I live in Knoxville and haven't heard a thing about Clausen not starting...where did you read this??? Everyone saying that Tenn is done for...well thats the role these guys relish. Everyone is down on them, but I think that the 6 overtime game pulled them together and a few players stepped up to take on leadership roles which this team lacked from the beginning of the season. Not wagering on this one...just GO VOLS!!!!

RIGHT THERE WITH YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

V--O--L--S GO VOLS GO!!!!!!!

I think this the perfect time for this team to come together.....

Now I know we have looked terrible, but I think this game is the perfect thing right now, Tennessee will be a 3-6 pt dog, everyone will look for Georgia to dominate, but on the road a team can come together, bond, and grow.........

Not saying we will win, but I will say it will be a close one.......

They have also beat us the last two years, and that leaves a sting, If I do bet it would be an under on the total..........

I look for the VOLS to pound the run?????

JUST SOME THOUGHTS!!!!!!!!!!

Clausen's left clavicle has hairline fracture.

Tennessee coach Phillip Fulmer said he might not decide on a starting quarterback until just before kickoff of Saturday's game against Georgia. Junior Casey Clausen injured his left shoulder in the final minutes of regulation against Arkansas and has yet to practice this week. An X-ray revealed that Clausen has a hairline fracture in his left clavicle, according to a source in the UT football building.

Florida had to play in the same conditions too & they didn't have the problems Tennesee did. They were outclassed & weren't prepared to play which is quite sad considering how big the game was & the same thing against Arkansas as Florida losing was big for their SEC chances & look how they almost blow it. This team is a joke.

I must have read a different article on espn's site:

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee quarterback Casey Clausen did not practice Monday because of a sore left shoulder and was listed as probable for No. 10 Tennessee's game Saturday at sixth-ranked Georgia.

Clausen, who throws with his right arm, had X-rays after the Volunteers' 41-38 win Saturday over Arkansas in six overtimes, but they revealed no significant damage.

"He's sore and should be fine,'' coach Phillip Fulmer said.

Clausen hurt his shoulder in the fourth quarter when he was knocked down and landed on it. He dressed for practice Monday but did not throw and had his shoulder iced down.

The only treatment will be icing it down while it heals itself.
