NFL thoughts -
bal-buf - tossup, no one can pick games like this.
az-tb - tb wins outright after QB switch. az sucks, carson palmer should be out of the league.
pit min - it's possible cassel plays well this game, but even if so, he sucks and should not be in league. but i think pit wins here, altho only trust them enough to tease. btw, nfl needs to quit trying to make fetch happen and ditch uk ball. germany was only place that showed interest in amiball.
gia-kc - now is the week to bet gia as everyone has given up on them. they CAN score. kc is not as great as it seems, nor gia as bad. i expect gia outright, but i play them +12 just so any halfway showing covers.
ind-jax - jax played them tough last year, and some expect letdown but i dont. jax may well cover but will not win outright. luck is well on way to becoming nfl's top qb, he's not going to allow ind to lose to jax here and waste last week's good work.
sea-hou - if hou has anything it will show here. nearly put them on teaser but after they burned me last week staying away. expect hou win.
cin-cle - games like this are unpickable. take points if anything but there are better games.
chi-det - det's the pick. annoying dumbasses who make mistake after mistake, so i stay away, but i think they win.
jet-ten - it's the average to very slightly above average teams that cannot be relied on as favs, this game is not pickable because you can hardly trust the nyets either.
was-oak - was got O going last week, that should be enough to beat oak, but i would rather tease wash back to 4. flynn? no one has gotten farther off a single quality start - and that in preseason! wouldnt be surprised if oak won, but i expect wash to win. wash is handicapping itself by starting its second best qb. yes that's right, cousins is better than griffin. wash would be 2-1 or 3-0 if cousins had started season.
phi-den - phi will play as well as it can, as the circumstances favor it, apart from being in denver, but that means...relying on michael vick. and that means dumb plays, misreads, fumbles. i dont like den here but how can you really like phi? phi has shown no d at all, and vick will score as many for the opponent as for his own team.
dal-sd - betting on dallas is like walking on spring ice, you just cant ever feel like you're more than one step from getting real cold and real wet. have to like sd here myself, but no money on it.
ne-atl - perfect situation for atl, they should win, i would and have put money on it. tease atl or play them on ml or sell pts up to 3.
mia-no - no all the way, easy call. no is still undervalued after last season. as soon as they get the O ironed out they will be sailing and their price will be too high, but for now it's perfect. ml tease sell points, every which way i like no.
