Wow.....first 4 dogs come in barking. Nice way to start off your holiday....or at least pay for it. Let's hope the big old dog comes thru tomorrow.

The final 4 hoe's are the top 4 seeds....again. Geez how surprising.

Can we say 'no depth'? Why even bother with the first 3 or 4 rounds?

I'm not going to post a play to prove how much I suck anymore this year my.....but there a couple things to point out. I have conferred with a tennis line-maker and we concur that Hewitt should spank Bags...I have him priced at -450 yet you can get around -250. Short odds are scary though.

Also...I have 'Super-Nads' priced at -175 (yes...it's a huge difference) as he has not really proven his grass dominance. The dude wins on sheer guts and mental strength alone but a good grass player should overcome with skill. Doesn't mean I think Nieminen will win (although I am betting on him because of the odds alone) but he came closest to ending Nads clay-run this year (not including Nad's bitch...the Fed) and now they are on a 'neutral surface'.

All pointless in the long run as the Fed has already decided the trophy is his.

Yup....but credit to Bags. He beats the odds again in a 2nd consecutive major. Just like in the Australian Open, he shows us what heart can do. Also goes to show why short odd favs are unbackable in men's tennis. I don't think Bags had ever even won a pro-match on the grass before 2006.

Kind of makes life look even easier for the Fed now (like he needs it) as Hewitt looked to be the main danger (if there was one) after Ancic.
