Going to the game .. think Bobcats win this but Owls can cover.

Hate going against Huskies since they lost a few but Texas has more athletes and can score. But Hurley is a much better coach then Tex coach . Hopefully Hurleys father stays in New Jersey so he cannot give his son some halftime adjustments ...Texas big man needs to step up today . Last time Texas had no post influence . Think Kendrick will play today with the defending champoins in the house.

Rice game vs Texas St was one sided until about 6 minutes when Texas st took the lead. Rice front line was huge with 6'9 and 6'10 guys inside. But they were undisciplined and forced many shots . Tx St players were more disciplined and much better coached. Rice defense stopping Bobcats was so bad. No help on open players. Benson the transfer from Army and the only pure shooter that Tx St has hit 3 tre's uncontested jump shots, I think he swished those uncontested open 3's . He is the one player you cannot leave wide open Terrible scouting on the Owls strategy Tx St usually plays him when teams go zone. He hit 3 3 pointer for 9 points. He played more minutes then he ever played. He was so open and not a single shot was contested. And Owls were playing man/man . Rice is huge up front and had a huge height advantage today but Tx St out hustled and out played Rice this afternoon There was maybe 300-400 people in the gym so home court other then playing on familiar territory was not a factor. Rice is in the American Athletic Conference and the way they play Defense should be at the bottom in the standings. There biggest weakness was they really didn't have a true Pt gd. They had a 6'6 guard play the point. Texas state out played them out hustled them and you could see their players were in control . Rice had 8 coaches on the bench . At a time out I never saw so many people in a huddle . My bad poor capping on my part.
