I would be willing to make this play just on
you saying that part.

Excuse me but that was last year. Judge the game with that reasoning and come out on short end of cash ticket.

Texas has better offense and a much better defense and scheme than last year.
Tech is the same team year after year.

I am judging based what I have seen this season.
TT is over rated like you would not believe.
A 17 point line proves that.
2 teams in the top 10 very seldem have this type of spread.

I think we will see why tomorrow.

The 17 point line proves one thing to me. And that is alot of money on Texas. Need the cover in this game. There are people that having been kicking ass with Texas ATS. This must change !

That speaks volumes right there.

There is a reason why the spread is the way it is.

When you find that answer you will understand why the play is Tech and the damn points !

Agreed.

One thing is Mack Brown hears the whispers that VT may surpass them so if a 25+ point win is in the offering then he will step on their throats.

Again I don't think Tech is a bad play plus the points.
It is just my opinion that this will be one sided.
Good Luck
A close Texas wins helps them because Tech might stay near the Top 10 and steal quality win points at the end of the season.

IF TEXAS WINS BY MORE THAN 17 .5 points, I will go in
a Sun Tzu thread and bow down to him with the little purple guy.

Fowler just asked Herbstreet and Corso if there would be 100 points scored in the Tx-TT.

Herbstreet said"By Texas maybe"

Call me crazy...but Mack and his boys always seem to choke the biggest game of the year. Biggest game of the year is usually Oklahoma, but that can't be said for this year. So what's the biggest game this year for TX?

Uh-huh. :s5:

Deep in the heart of Texas
Scott,Texas linemen will have the best of it by far on both sides of the ball. This is a rivalry game as far as TT goes, but not for UT. I bet my horns as often as against them. TT comes into this game with stellar offensive numbers, wonderful stats against poor competition. Had VT lost on Wed, there would have been no incentive to roll this team. Texas wins by at least three TDs unless Young gets hurt.

if you saw the BCS standings, and if you saw the AP top 25, VT isnt not that close to Texas in the standings. Texas needs a WIN. margin of victory is pretty much irrelevant.

I have seen every Texas game this year. I've watched some of TTech. I think Texas wins but TTech should keep it close. i'm grabbing 17.5 and hoping for a 17 point Texas win :)

I wouldn't want to be sitting on the under in this one.
Texas will score 60+

TT defense is getting shredded.

Walking off the field Leech says "we gotta figure out a way to punt the ball."

I hope he has better plans than that for the 2nd H.
I am sticking with my 55-17 prediction.

Call me Crazy.
But this is an ass kicking.
A suprise to no one who has watched these two teams close enough to see this coming.

Biggest game of the year. You must have been talking about Tech.

It was an ass kicking, can't disagree. Curious who you think is the 2nd best team in the Big XII.

I've got to lean with Va Tech v USC who has to play FSU and Miami, with your answer pending.

Texas Tech is 2nd best and will be in the Cotton Bowl and prboably win it.
Tough team when you never see them.

Texas has just figured them out and I think this is the best Texas team with a ton of confidence.
Tech wont lose again in the regular season. That is a promise.
