Every odd time I text my ex in Mexico, she always gets the messages when they arrive via "RCS" but sometimes she doesn't get em when I send em via "SMS". I admit I rarely text I am old school and actually pick up the phone and talk, I know weird right. So I am far from an expert on texting, so I have some questions for the expert Madjack texters....
1) What in the love of fuck is the difference between "RCS" and "SMS"?
2) Is there a way to always send a text via "RCS", or does the phone/cell carrier/etc/etc just automatically decide how a text is sent?
3) Does anybody else in Madjack land send texts that show up as "SMS", if so does it always go through?
Note: Maybe the issue is when one texts to international numbers? Any time I text somebody in USA or Canada I rarely have an issue.
Note 2: Anytime I send a text via "RCS" it always works, the issue sometimes pops up when a text is sent via "SMS".
And yes feel free to bash me for not knowing the difference between "RCS" and "SMS", as I said I rarely text, so yes I know nothing. Some fuckers text like once every minute, I ain't that guy, so yes bash away
