Nova -13.5 over Canisius ****
Not a great time to playing Nova after losing to Furman and Michigan..Nova did beat Quinny 86-53 a MAAC brother of Canisius...think score should be around the same..Griffs have Molson who is avg 21 pts a game..he was leading the nation in scoring until they played Fl St..you can score big vs the Albanys and Bucknells think Nova will hold him in check..Griffs lost to Albany 75-66..so they let an avg scoring team to 75 points and scored 65 points vs a avg def team..Griffs have Reese who is there best player..but theyhave no front line..Johnson the pt gd is 5'10 ad there only front court player is Hitchon who avgs 2 rebounds a game..Reese the gd is the top rebounder..that spells trouble vs Nova
Paschall is 6'8 and weighs about 260 pounds...I remember when he played at Fordham I said here "bad move" why go to Nova when you can become the the best player in the A-10"..guess I was wrong there..he is a force inside..hits both ends of the bds..Booth and Gillespie are 6'3 gds that avg double d's..Cremo the Albany transfer is a great addition who could hit jumpers from the Hudson River..up front you have Bey,Samuels and Roundtree at 6'7,6'8 and 6'9...Roundtree has 12 blocks already..Jay lost a lot so it will take some time for this team to gel...but think today they give the Griffs a lot of problems esp Cats offense vs a Griff weak defense..

I had this number in double digits around -10 or 11...
Heels can score..they rak 3rd in the nation avg 93 pts . Now I know they padded there scoring vs the Tenn Techs,St Francis,and Elons..they played a close on vs Woffard but did beat Stanford by 18..they have 2 frot line scorers in Johnson and Maye at 6'9 and 6'8 Little ..Maye inside is a monster..then super frosh Little is a 6'6 fd who can score..they have solid gds that ca play defense..
Texas has some talent but they are not a cohesive team..they have Coleman a solid pt gd and Oset a 6'9 shooter..Hayes is going to be a good player at 6'11 and Sims at 6'9 was expected to replace Bamba..they can't shoot esp 3's...of the top 7 players not including the post players the shoot 29,18,22,27 and 45 % from the 3..Roach is there best player at 6'5 and is a slasher to the basket..they struggled with East Illi and UL Moroe and at home..they beat Ark in OT by 2... but they live in the Erwin center and play at home...on the road think they will have more problems...think with Maye in the middle can't see Texas defense stopping NC's offense..double digit win for the Heels...
got computer working..didn't realize Nova-Canisius game is in a tournament here in Orlando...only 20 miles from my house...but would have my laptop thrown at me if I suggested to drive to the Advocate Center and caych a game...

Man of war. Lol. Just watched the game. Nova looked sloppy but won by 20. Think nova will have some serious growing problems.
