I see quite a few big time schools laying less then double digits to these small schools.

Thursday i like Drake +2

Villanova only -6 to Winthrop
Purdue -7.5 to North Texas
Arkansas -9.5 to Colgate
Oklahoma St. -9.5 to Liberty
Texas -8.5 to Abilene Christian

I'll be on all 6 of those.

I see a few games where maybe the wrong team is favored.

Michigan St. over UCLA
Loyola Chicago over Georgia Tech
Florida over Virginia Tech
Rutgers over Clemson

Rutgers and Michigan St. are horrible

I'll take Houston +1800

Good luck

I took w.v. +2600 before the conference tourny . Thought they would show better than what they did. Good luck in the big dance and thanks for your early thoughts.

I love dogs in the first round (and second round), but of the 7 and 10 seeded matchups, the highest line is Oregon - 6 against VCU. Makes me think lay the points.

Betting Preview for the UCLA Bruins vs Michigan State Spartans NCAA College Basketball Game on March 18 2021

Record: 17-9 Overall / 13-6 Conference

The Bruins are headed to the First Four on a shaky form, having lost all of their last four games. The last time they were on the court, they suffered an 83-79 overtime loss to eventual Pac-12 tournament champions, Oregon State Beavers, 83-79, on Mar. 11. But UCLA has gotten an invite to March Madness for a reason. The Bruins can shoot the ball from deep, and when they get hot from that region, they could break any game open. UCLA finished second in Pac-12 play with 39.0 percent shooting from behind the arc and third with a 47.0 field goal percentage. UCLA is also 26th in the nation in adjusted offensive efficiency with 114.1 points per 100 possessions and features a clear go-to-guy in Kentucky Wildcats transfer Johnny Juzang, who averaged 14.0 points in the regular season.d

The over is 2-1 in UCLA?s last three games.

Record: 15-11 Overall / 9-11 Conference

Michigan State wasn?t trending towards an appearance in the 2021 March Madness back in February, but the Spartans got hot with wins over the Indiana Hoosiers, Illinois Fighting Illini, and Ohio State Buckeyes in succession in mid-February. Then the Spartans ended their regular-season schedule with a 70-64 at home over National Tournament No.1 seed Michigan Wolverines. Although they lost to the Maryland Terrapins in the Big Ten tournament, the Spartans have considerably been a better team of late than UCLA. Michigan State?s defense that held opponents in the regular season down to just 31.5 percent shooting from deep could be key in slowing down an already cool Bruins team that hasn?t been scoring efficiently of late. Michigan State?s offense, meanwhile, is feeding off great ball movement that resulted in 15.9 assists per game in the regular season ? 28th-best in Division I basketball.

The under is 6-0 in Michigan State?s last six games.

Betting Preview for the Virginia Tech Hokies vs Florida Gators NCAA College Basketball Game on March 19 2021

Record: 15-6 Overall / 9-4 Conference

Virginia Tech flunked out of the ACC tournament after losing to the North Carolina Tar Heels on Mar. 11, 81-73, but this is the same team that beat the Villanova Wildcats early in the season in a neutral setting on Nov. 28, 81-73. Not only that, but Virginia Tech also defeated the Virginia Cavaliers at home on Jan. 30, 65-51. This Hokies team can bite, as proven by those two wins over preseason favorites to go deep in the National Tournament. Virginia Tech allowed just 65.5 points per game during ACC play, third-best in the conference. Keve Aluma leads this team with 15.6 points per game, while Tyrece Radford was right behind him with 11.9 points per game on 56.0 percent shooting from the field. Aluma and Radford are highly efficient go-to scorers for this Hokies team that?s 293rd in the nation in adjusted tempo with 66.3 possessions per 40 minutes.

The under is 7-3 in Virginia Tech?s last 10 games.

Record: 14-9 Overall / 9-7 Conference

Florida?s outlook for the Big Dance would have been a whole lot better if Keyonate Johnson is available to play, but he?s not, so the Gators will be looking for Tre Mann to carry most of the load for the team. Tren Mann averaged 16.0 points on 45.3 percent shooting from the field and 39.8 percent from deep back in the regular season. Even though Florida lost to the Tennessee Volunteers in the SEC tournament, the Gators had posted wins over the likes of the LSU Tigers and the West Virginia Mountaineers, which speaks a lot about how dangerous this Florida team can be in the Big Dance. Florida hit 10 of 24 shots from deep in the loss to Tennessee, so the Gators could still be scoring hot from deep when they meet the Hokies in the first round. Florida should not also be bothered by Virginia Tech?s slow pace, as the Gators are 165th in the nation with 68.7 possessions per 40 minutes.

Florida is 5-4-1 against the spread in its last 10 games in March Madness.

Betting Preview for the Drexel Dragons vs Illinois Fighting Illini NCAA College Basketball Game on March 19 2021

Record: 12-7 Overall / 4-5 Conference

Drexel isn?t going to back down in a shootout. The CAA champions have been on a tear lately, as the Dragons have averaged 75.3 points on 50.2 percent shooting from the floor over their last four games. In addition, Drexel has drilled an average of 10.3 threes on 51.9 percent shooting from behind the arc over the same stretch. The Dragons also have great chemistry on the floor, thanks in large part to the fact that they have plenty of holdovers from last season. In fact, Drexel is third in the nation and tops among all teams in the 2021 March Madness in terms of continuity, per KenPom. Drexel has four players putting up at least 10.0 points per game, led by Camren Wynter, who is averaging 16.8 points on 47.3 percent shooting from the field. Three of Drexel?s top four scorers are shooting 48.0 percent from the floor or better.

Drexel is 4-0 against the spread in its last four games overall.

Record: 23-6 Overall / 16-4 Conference

Fresh off winning the Big Ten tournament title, the Fighting Illini are poised to steamroll past their first-round opponent, Drexel. Illinois defeated the Ohio State Buckeyes in the conference title game via overtime, 91-88, with Ayo Dosunmo and Kofi Cockburn scoring 16 points each. Cockburn is expected to be a huge problem, literally and figuratively for Drexel, which has a soft interior defense that can be abused by the Illinois big man. The Dragons allowed opponents to shoot 50.4 percent from inside the arc back in the regular season, 205th overall in the nation. Illinois averaged 81.7 points on 49.2 percent shooting from the field while capping opponents to only 69.6 points over the Fighting Illini?s last seven games, dating back to the regular season. Dosunmo is the engine that makes Illinois run, as the do-it-all guard is averaging 20.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game this season.

Illinois 7-3 against the spread in its last 10 games overall.

Betting Preview for the Hartford Hawks vs Baylor Bears NCAA College Basketball Game on March 19 2021

Record: 15-8 Overall / 8-6 Conference

Hartford is headed to the Big Dance by topping the American East Conference. The Hawks are on a four-game win streak, including their 64-50 win in the conference tournament finals over the UMass Lowell River Hawks. An aggressive defense has been the meal ticket for Hartford, which led its conference in opponents? turnover percentage (21.6%) and defensive steal percentage (10.7) while allowing just 61.9 points per game in AEC play ?also tops in the league. Austin Williams, a bruising 6-4 guard, has the size and steadiness in the backcourt to inspire an upset win over Baylor. Meanwhile, Traci Carter is another defensive pest for Hartford, as he is third in the nation overall with a 4.9 steal percentage. He is averaging 13.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, and shootings 50.6 percent from the field this season, while four other Hawks are putting up at least 9.7 points per contest.

Hartford is 5-0 against the spread in its last five games overall.

Record: 22-2 Overall / 13-1 Conference

Sure, Baylor lost to the Oklahoma State Cowboys in the semifinals of the Big 12 tournament, but that shouldn?t diminish the perception that the Bears are easily among the best in the nation. There?s no shame for Baylor in losing to a team led by a potential future NBA superstar in Cade Cunningham, and the Bears won?t have to deal with anyone close to that talent in the first round. The Bears? triumvirate of Jared Butler, MaCio Teague, and Davion Mitchell will be all over the Hawks on both ends of the floor. Each of them is averaging at least 14.2 points per game and shoots over 39.0 percent from behind the arc. Baylor?s outside shooting is scary good. The Bears are No. 1 in the nation with a 41.8 3-point field goal percentage while making 10.8 threes per game. Hartford?s defense should be loosened by that kind of shooting by Baylor, who can strike from anywhere on the floor.

The over is 5-0 in Baylor?s last five games overall.
