That made me laugh!

US amateur scene obviously very healthy at the moment which bodes well for US ladies golf as they are struggling for good young players in their early 20s.

Wie and Pressel will be pretty experienced by the time they get to 20 years of age!

2nd round update: 1-2-0; -2.03 units

Andrews/McKay LOST by 2
Louden/Bunch LOST by 1
Matthew/Kerr WON by 3

Mid-point update:

Han/Davies WON by 2
Stanford/Hurst WON by 12
Matthew/Hurst WON by 8
Morgan/Wie Trails by 3

Ochoa 31st
Park 43rd
Kane 43rd

Won three of four matchups at the cut, but offset by 2nd round losses and some sharp movements down the leaderboard by the outright selections. They will find it hard to catch up on this course, so will need Morgan to beat Wie to gain some respectability for this week's efforts.

3rd round plays (1.5 units unless stated):

Angela Stanford to beat Natalie Gulbis -126 @ Five Dimes
Juli Inkster to beat Patricia Meunier-Lebouc -132 @ Five Dimes
Leta Lindley to beat Alison Nicholas -122 @ Five Dimes [3 units]

McKay's triple bogey of the 18th certainly keeps it interesting.

DTB, you made me look at 18 holers, which I hardly ever do, and was tempted!

in the style of Stanley!
2 units;

Inkster v Stanford 8/11 Power

1 unit;

Jones v Nicholas 8/11 365
Jang v Lindley 10/11 365
Rosales v Song 1 WH

Got a few up there, Inkster, Andrews, PML, Jang & Rosales, so need a few good rounds tonight to get to the front.

Your girl Jang come thru with flying colors in her match today and is in the hunt.
My harem has been decimated with Ink spitting the bit and Pepper WD's in the thick of it with injury.
My distance theory was seriously flawed ,Lunde ave 228 and McKay is to reported only hitting 2 to 3 drivers a day. I am enjoying the hell out of watching em though except didn't see Park all day:( . 4 hours of coverage tomorrow.:)

DTB, just noticed this quote from the 1st below in bold(my bad for not noticing before). ..sent out queries too insiders and would be cautious on certain exchanges.....

Wow What nice finds on odds. I am thinking of getting a Canadian
P.O. address to access these books. See any pitfalls?

if you want will set you up no problem with cdn po box in 24 hours..no prob at all for you.

Thats a good point smoothie. That did not cross my mind. I'll have to check with a few books and see what they say. I have a few CC that are okay with some books. It would be a shame to get $$ taken away due to a US IP. We'll see what they say.

Aren't there websites/software that you can use so you can view sites at work which would otherwise be prohibited on your office server?

I remember at least one discussion in the 'General Discussion' forum about the inability to view this site while at work and people had suggestions for how to view it via a proxy or whatever.

Maybe someone can refresh my memory, but wouldn't it serve the same purpose for hiding your U.S. IP went logging into these books?

IE Drop me a line. Currently looking into an idea but would like to kick the tires on this one also.

Trampled I think how close they check would have a lot to do with what kind of action you threw at them. I don't think my modest wagers would set off any lights and while it would be somewhat of a bummer to have any winnings taken away it would not be great concern as primary challenge would be just to have opt to try and beat their lines.

When we are limited to small # of viable books the profitable angles dry up in a hurry.5 dimes place odds lines is classic example and I could name a couple more angles at different shops.
In reality I have often thought we are killing the goose that lays the golden egg. It would make much more sense to post plays at books we are not privy to and let them take the hits rather than drying up the few resourses we have. As we learn,so do the books. It was not uncommon just last year to find many matches weekly with with am/pm tee times. Finding them now is scare as hens teeth.

Sustained a little damage on 18 holers, but live to fight again.

No coverage for me last night as power was out for most of evening...could be a late one tonight.

Hope Annika is unable to mount a charge as I would like to see which one of these youngsters is able to hold their nerve when it counts.

Ditto on Annika as she has gotten awfully cocky of late.

did a little unofficial parlay @ 365 today to add some interest on
Kerr-Teske-Robbins-Jang and Stanford

Good points DTB. The other thing that crossed my mind in regards to the foreign PO Box is that when cashing out the first time a book usually wants a copy of your ID. At least some of them do. You could always try them out for a small amount and see what you can get away with.

Your right about 5D. I missed out on the place wagers this week on the ladies. No way I could bet into some of those lines. When I finally got around to looking at some of them it wasnt worth looking at all. Of course this week it looks like that might have saved me some $$. :D
