I know that was the main reason for the play against, well I need Dimarco to hit his 11 ft putt on 18 for birdie and Oblerhoser to 3 putt from 23 ft, doesn't look good.

A spectator took a snap at the top of Daly's swing.....Daly tried to do a Tiger and stop swinging but this resulted in some kind of rib injury (according to TGC). He aint quite the athlete that Tiger is.

I would have assumed cameras were banned from golf tournaments.

They are supposed to be. (for spectators)

As far as Tiger being a better athlete, no doubt he is but if he took a backswing like this he may never walk again!

I know the feeling IX went same route--after seeing course would have liked it better--but still a loser--been getting to view Allenby quite a bit--and while always been excellent ball striker-- putting was his achilles heel. # 1 at cut in fairways and gir's hit--and 20th in putts/gir---he's firing on all cylinders.

--however had you made same wager on their last 12 events in common you'd have 8 of them--don't let one event change your perspective.

I hear ya DTB. 2nd round he got out to the tee first and never looked back. Perhaps a different story on day 3 with some pressure (that Korean is all over the place and could distract in the pairing). The Toms bet is certainly not dead in the water quite yet only five back.

Especially after watching my 2nd round Furyk bet push after being up 3 strokes going into #15. Sometimes you're running well and sometimes not. Harrington holes out from the bunker on a course where its evident that sand saves are hard to come by. Furyk bogeys same hole for a two stroke swing. Oh well.

O'Hern misses the cut by a stroke and Quinney staggers home to make it by one.....72 hole matchup is DOA.

3rd ROUND 2-BALL

JOE OGILVIE -0.5 strokes (+100) over DANIEL CHOPRA

Taking Toms over Oberholser -135 (4th Round Matchup, ties lose)

Oberholser has been scrambling his rear off in the first 3 rounds. He has been hanging around without self distructing......he hasnt been hitting greens, but bailing himself out with some nice short game and putting.

You cant do that all day, you eventually have to hit some nice shots and get the ball in regulation, or at some point you will take a number. I am betting that he goes south.......

Toms on the other hand, has had his chances to get into contention in this tournament......he has played rather well with the exception of his first 5 holes of the tournament, where he started +4.

Good luck!

I am going to start adding my plays to the group here........I have had a rough start to the season after having a great season last year, so hopefully I am due.

Between Green Bay and Iowa City
Sunday:

Brett Wetterich(66/1 and 1/4 for 1-2-3) e.w. @ SIA
- - The leaderboard, difficult course and breezy conditions at the 2005 Honda made for a textbook situation on that Sunday morning for someone to post a number from way back and reap the rewards, and it was practically de riguer for any serious punter to take a stab at the mess. This year is really no less so, and perhaps a bit more so. . . . . (There is no time to review my biggest regrets from each season, but on that occasion back in 2005 - which included a meltdown by Wetterich - my final choice of Kevin Stadler(80/1) bumped my second choice of Padraig Harrington(100/1), and it brought me considerable grief from a silent partner I had back then who knew nothing about golf but would always tell me he thought we should be on Padraig, and my inexcusable neglect in putting nothing on Padraig that day was not topped for regrets during the 2005 campaign) . . . So now, today, Jupiter resident Wetterich has had his nose in the competition all week and is still poised in a threatening position to atone for a serious disappointment from the past. I expect at a minimum that Wetterich is up to firing some bullets before he falls back, and if he gets his driver in a groove to match the good place the rest of his game has been this week, then the whole affair could get quite serious.
