one more thing came to mind on "paulville"...

if you were a member of the homeowner`s association, would you allow the paulvillians to wrap their houses in tinfoil?....

i kid...

/maybe if the serious mccain/obama folks shake their heads hard enough, the paulians will finally go away(kinda like an etch-a-sketch)....

In this day and age of ignorance and avarice on a scale inconceivable to many, I will take that hope...no matter how bleak the outcome.

At least he CAN talk, good God when Shrub opens his pie-hole, the world leaders tremble with laughter and wonder why he does not have clown makeup on.

Actually Ron Paul is my man; he, unlike many politicians , believes in the constitution and sound money...he would make a much better candidate than Mc Clone.

ron paul would be a gift.

You're just strange, my man.

The thing that makes him so strange is the obvious contrast in his posts. He will make the most serious, grave, apocolyptic statements possible and then turn around and tell everyone to "chill out" and that he is only here for comic relief. It gets so confusing.

(click the link and read the whole thing)

"And it came to pass, in the eighth year of the reign of the evil Bush the Younger (The Ignorant), when the whole land from the Arabian desert to the shores of the Great Lakes had been laid barren, that a Child appeared in the wilderness.

The Child was blessed in looks and intellect. Scion of a simple family, offspring of a miraculous union, grandson of a typical white person and an African peasant. And yea, as he grew, the Child walked in the path of righteousness, with only the occasional detour into the odd weed and a little blow.

When he was twelve years old, they found him in the temple in the City of Chicago, arguing the finer points of community organisation with the Prophet Jeremiah and the Elders. And the Elders were astonished at what they heard and said among themselves: ?Verily, who is this Child that he opens our hearts and minds to the audacity of hope??

In the great Battles of Caucus and Primary he smote the conniving Hillary, wife of the deposed King Bill the Priapic and their barbarian hordes of Working Class Whites.

And so it was, in the fullness of time, before the harvest month of the appointed year, the Child ventured forth - for the first time - to bring the light unto all the world."

That's pretty good gw. Here's my quick and dirty version...

He was known as ?Hanging Chad?. He lived in the land of tribal elders wearing their customary garb of polyester and plaid. He spent many years seeking the fountain that the ancient explorers said would give him everlasting youth. He never found the fountain and in time, he turned to the dark side. In the year of the millennium, he helped King George II and the Neolicans depose the good and righteous leader of the Libercratics, ?Algore?.

In the first year of King George II?s reign, invaders from across the sea attacked and destroyed the greatest temples in the land. King George II stood upon the rubble of the great temples and vowed that the invaders and their weapons of mass destruction would be hunted down and destroyed for all time.

Because of his crushing defeat at the hands of Hanging Chad and the Neolicans, Algore would never again be allowed to lead the Libercratics. Algore returned to the Land of Ten Seas and he survived well on roots, herbs and an occasional Heineken. Some said that he would endeavor to persevere and that one day he would return to the land of tribal elders to wage battle once again with the evil Hanging Chad.

But it did not come to pass for the Libercratics had annointed a new leader, a leader that would surely defeat the evil Hanging Chad and his legion of minions, the Neolicans. His name was "Barbama the Great" and eight years on from the year of the millennium, near the end of King George II?s reign, Barbama the Great fought a great battle with the Neolican warrior chief "Johmac the Barbarian".

Johmac had fought many battles and was once captured by indigenous natives in a land far away. Upon gaining his freedom, Johmac returned to his homeland and vowed to the Neolicans "I will do battle with our enemies if it takes 100 years". The Neolicans then pledged their undying loyalty to their new leader Johmac the Barbarian.

Barbama the Great and Johmac the Barbarian battled long and many Libercratics and Neolicans were sacrificed in the great battle. But in the end, not even Hanging Chad could help Johmac and the Neolicans defeat Barbama the Great and the Libercratics for their numbers were too great and their will too strong.
