HIDEKI MATSUYAMA +4000

Hideki Matsuyama to win the Masters at odds of 40-1

Lee Westwood to win the Masters at odds of 200-1

We both got a shot at Hideki Matsuyama Jack, he's only 2 shots back heading into final round, it is possible:scared

Although I'd prefer my 200-1 odds wager to come through, but I doubt that will be happening.

I like our chances. Never know, get hot at the right time and BOOM!

7/1 now.

Spieth is an animal though.

I think Bernhard is too old and Smylie won't be able to handle the pressure. Jason and DJ are capable for sure. Gonna be some good golf watching today. :0008

Between Green Bay and Iowa City
A pile of observations . . .

The more I see and hear, the more I believe Westwood has ?been in a good place? since the week began, and it's been trending in only one direction. He should acquit himself on Sunday better than his average, which is better than the alternative.

No surprise if this is a position from which Snedeker some day snatches a Masters, and he?s close to his best at the moment.

Plenty of evidence Spieth?s swing this week is being held together with bailing wire, more so than evidence of a swing that has been trending toward leading The Masters for four rounds. If the young guy with the old head schools so many hungry rivals once again, this time with much less than his best, then shame on them.

It will be more incredulous than Tom Watson at Turnberry if Langer is the best on Sunday, especially if the conditions open the spigots on rounds in the 60's. At the other end of the spectrum, my catechism tells me Kaufman doesn?t have anywhere near the experience to fill the best on Sunday shoes.

I?ve been wrong most of the week on which direction Matsuyama would be moving on the leaderboard and right on the direction of Willet. And further back, McIlroy appeals to me more than Rose or Casey even further back.

Day is a huge threat, but IMO not the lead challenger.

There are so many shots around Augusta that Dustin Johnson is comfortable with that are exactly the type of shots that elsewhere would cause him problems, providing a difficult but nevertheless custom tailored opportunity to erase the fact of having been robbed when his all-time brilliant shot hung up on the backstop at last year?s U.S. Open.

Sunday:

Westwood(-125) over Kjeldsen
Johnson(-155) Un71' 4th Round
Snedeker(+110) Un 71' 4th Round
Westwood(-115) Un72' 4th Round
Johnson(-115) over Matsuyama
Horschel(-105) over Holmes
Kisner(-125) over Bradley

thoughts heading into 4th round........

- think it's going to be really tough for Scott Piercy to recover from his triple bogey on 15 yesterday - despite a round that was tough to that point (3 bogeys to no birdies) he was 1 over par and over the 15th green in 2 and still in the thick of things for the most part - he hit a good chip but got collared and the ball took a big 1st hop and went through the green and into the water - he brought it back to the same spot, hit another solid chip, then proceeded to 3-putt for triple - just do not see how he will be able to put that behind him and have a sound mindset headed into today - lean to RC Bello -120

- think Langer is in for a relatively tough day today for a few reasons - easier conditions will not help, but I really think he and Day played off of each other a lot yesterday and felt both were super-comfortable with their 3rd round pairing - Bernhard goes to the other end of the spectrum today playing with Matsuyama who doesn't even speak English - just don't see Langer following up his unbelievable round yesterday with another solid one today - on the other hand I loved something that I heard from Kaufman yesterday when he said something to the effect of " I didn't do anything special, just hit my spots and made a bunch of pars an made a few birdies on the par 5's" - in reality that is how you tame Augusta National - this kid seems to be something special and the moment may get to him today but I certainly don't anticipate a trainwreck - money seems to be coming in heavily on Langer in this matchup but I definitely lean to Kaufman -125 here

- boy, did Rose hang in tough yesterday or what? he went bogey-bogey-bogey-double on hole #'s 4-7 then proceeded to shoot 33 on the back with 4 birdies - a lot of lessons could be learned from his round yesterday - however don't think today is the right time to bet against Rory..........

- could today be the day that DJ gets over the major hurdle? I really don't see Spieth doing it today and of the challengers I think I favor Dustin, especially if the setup and conditions are a bit easier like is being forecast

- finally, not sure if people realize this or if it is being reported, but if Angel Cabrera had made par every day on the par 5 15th hole he would be tied for the lead - Angel dumped 2 in the water on Thursday and another on Friday on his way to a 9 and a 7 - after rolling in an 8 footer for par yesterday on 15 his reaction was comical as he celebrated his "accomplishment" - he is rolling the ball really well and obviously feels comfortable in big environments and on lightning fast greens - lean to El Pato +105 today in his matchup against Daniel Berger

also wanted to mention, the Masters website is as good as any I have ever encountered in the world of sports/golf - to be able to watch 3-4 featured groups a day, plus all of the action from Amen Corner and holes 15-16 is really incredible and is part of what makes the Masters such a great viewing experience - the collection of stats, videos, stories, shot-link style capabilities, etc etc on down the line is definitely appreciated by this golf fan

just for the record not necessarily playing these leans, but will be back with a play or plays in a bit

for round 4, playing:

Cabrera +105 vs Berger

experience and a hot putter on my side - more of a play on El Pato than against Berger as I have no reason to think Daniel will blow up today, but Angel will know all about these pin placements and how to attack while Berger will be playing an Augusta National that he has yet to see as he basically played a different course for his 1st 3 competitive rounds here

as always, good luck no matter which golfers you choose
