Thanks for the info about Mediate efgee

He didn't tee off and that saved me from tieing funds up on a couple of wagers that would have been voided only on Sunday night.

2nd round plays:

Chris DiMarco to beat Robert Allenby -120 @ Five Dimes
Fred Couples to beat Stuart Appleby -120 @ Five Dimes
Joe Durant to beat Brad Faxon -125 @ Five Dimes
Harrison Frazar to beat Billy Mayfair +100 @ Five Dimes [3 units]
Frank Lickliter to beat Jeff Sluman -115 @ Five Dimes
Hal Sutton to beat Scott Verplank -120 @ Five Dimes

I hear ya DTB .... "Memorial weather"

Most of my plays have similar tee-times, so shouldn't matter when they play, apart from Frazar over Mayfair - it anything, there should be an advatage for late starters today, particularly if they can complete their round tomorrow.

Was thinking along those same lines Stan. With weather its best to have approximate tee times as they will be going to lift, clean and place at some point and don't want to get stuck on short end.
Been spending morning trying to figure ways to exploit totals @ Camelot in future.
Appears they are setting lines on ave of past "total" tourney scores so may be value in unders in 1st 2 rounds void of weekend pins. Was going to give Furyk a shot at u 69.5 +125 by carding a 69 and only hitting 44% gir but further reveiw showed he only busted that figure here in 9 of past 22 rounds so will pass and spend my bucks coat-tailing your other tours selections today

2nd round update: 2-4-0 and -0.80 units

Small loss on the day to negate most of yesterday's gains. At least the three-unit play won to make it a break-even day: Frazar beat Mayfair by one. In the rest, DiMarco lost to Allenby by one, Couples lost to Appleby by four, Durant lost to Faxon by four, Lickliter lost to Sluman by three and Sutton beat Verplank by one.

Day's late collapse means he misses the cut - he lost by seven to Damron in the only 72-hole play decided at the cut. At least the other four are leading: Azinger by three over Allenby, Appleby by seven over Baddeley, Verplank by six over Brooks and Woods by two over Hoch. With Zinger leading the tournament and Tiger 3rd, this could yet be a very good week!

Day/Quigley loss by 3 (both miss cut)
Day gets me too Stan, couldn't beat +5

72 hole pending Have not perked up much since 1st day.
Funk/Tway 5 up
Furyk/Garcia 1 down
K Perry/Waite 2 down
Herron/Flesch 9 down.

Glen Day was big surprise also Herron is usually very tough in rainy weather.
Just can't seem to get focused on this event but will venture into 1 3rd round play.
Haas -105 over Brooks @ 5dimes

Ventured into the interactives @ WSEX
Bought 1 contract on Zinger $11 and 3 on Furyk @$4 each for a total of $23.

Maybe Tiger will catch a cold in this weather.

Purely hypothetically...how many rounds must be in before a result is official ?more than two? What do they do with part rounds (eg the few holes that were played thie morning) does this mean that the third round MUST be completed sometime...ie later in the season.

I say this as Azinger leads (at 66-1)...should I break out the rain dancers or pray for sun?

There seems to be a rain delay right now...or is PGATOUR's site just stuck...it seems to indicate that three players only have finished holes...

cheers

3rd round update: 3-0-0 and +4.00 units

A good day, despite the rain! Weir beat Beem by five shots, Sutherland beat Daly by four and Paulson beat Sabbatini by seven. Nice, healthy margins. The four remaining 72-hole plays are all ahead, though most have yet to complete 54 holes: Azinger leads Allenby by three, Appleby leads Baddeley by ten, Verplank leads Brooks by two and Woods leads Hoch by two. With Azinger 1st and Woods 2nd for the outrights, a rain-shortened event might not be that disastrous

3rd rd results
Haas/Brooks Push
Zinger currently -2 on round with 4 left.
Note on 72 Holes
Herron also missed cut.He was listed on t-times but they went to +3 on cut.

4th round
G Nicklaus +125 over Daly @ Camelot

Interesting match. Gary playing on Pops course has only had 1 round out of 7 here above par and that being a 74.
Daly on the other hand in 8 years his has carded a 78 or worse every year.In the 5 cuts he made his final round scores have been 80-79-78-78-83. Win or lose ya gotta love getting +125 in this match.

Clive 40% chance of rain all day.
============================================
Note on Interactives: Could bail at a wash with Zinger @ $23 and would if not for the weather. With rain forcast for tomorrow there is a slim possibilty it could be called at 54 depending on todays rain.

Perry/Waite win by 6

Matches for week 3-4-2 ytd 155-128

Between weather here and at tourny sites this has been most boring week.Glad to get out of Jack's house.
Note. Don't be surprised to see Hoch get DQd if he signs card without taking strokes for backing into tree limbs to improve shot.

Final update: 0-2-1 and -2.40 units for the day; 10-7-2 and +5.69 units for the week

Disappointing way to end an otherwise very satisfactory week. Verplank lost by three to Allenby, Chalmers bogeyed the last to lose by one to Howell, but at least Singh birdied the last to tie with Garcia. Verplank's 76 meant he could only tie with Brooks, but the other three remaining 72-hole won: Azinger beat Allenby by three, Appleby beat Baddeley by ten and Woods beat Hoch by eleven.

Update on outright plays: 2-0 and +17.95 units

He took his time, but Tiger did eventually win by a merry mile. Seven shots to be exact. With Zinger finishing 2nd and so winning the "w/o Woods" play, the only blot on the week's outrights was that he shared 2nd place with Garcia, reducing the payout by just over half. Still can't complain when your two picks finish 1-2

DTB-

Very observant and exactly right as Hoch finished at -6, not -8, having to take the two stroke penalty.

We were watching at small neighborhood sports bar and wondered why the annoucers just brushed over it lightly.

Some pals had Hoch over Allenby and/or Appleby over Hoch and visa versa, but all reversed with those guys at -7 and Hoch not -8, but -6.

Tough way to lose and lucky way to win...
