I root for the good story. Kinda like having a team that is getting "no-hit". Why not hope for a no hitter, now that the bet is lost?
I am going to watch the recorded back nine, I saw the front nine before going to work. How many 46 year old guys have shot a 63 in a major championship round? I think this is historic enough? Like him or not that is a hell of a run:0008

Since birth this is all he's ever done. When he was born, the doctor was wearing a Munsingwear golf shirt. His parents rocked him to sleep at night listening to audio tapes of golf lessons by Bobby Jones. Morning, noon, and night. Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring. Twentyfourseven. Eat, sleep, drink, breathe golf. Regulation size putting green is his parents back yard.

Kudos to The Golf Channel.
It was late yesterday, and I believe it was Scott Hernandez hitting his tee shot on the Par 3 14th, and Mike Tirico said to Johnny Miller, "You know what number that player is?". Johnny and I didn't know what he was talking about, and Tirico explained that was the 155th player they had shown during their two days of coverage. Chris Wood withdrew, but otherwise they had shown all 155 players over the two days of coverage. I was absolutely amazed.
Of course there are some things about The Golf Channel which can annoy, but that's not the purpose of this post.
On the whole, every other sport can only wish they had something equivalent to The Golf Channel.

Finally off. It switched when DJ hit his ball into the bushes or weeds, whatever. I have no idea what happened except I found out he took a triple.
