Yep tonite's the last. Saw an interview today and Duchovny said they were working on logistics for next season but nothing was definate.

I have enjoyed the 5 bonus episodes, good stuff. The ratings have been pretty good and all involved seemed to have loved filming the 6 episodes. I think it will come back again.

Might even be another movie.

X-files = good shit:spotting:

I just might have to back and watch the original episodes.

Although I might have to give Game of Thrones a shot first.

If you went back and watched all X-files episodes and all Game of Thrones episodes that would be roughly 250 hours of television viewing:scared

watch g.o.t`s from the jump if possible....we went back after a few seasons were already finished and it was worth it...

it`s mind boggling to me that a sort of medieval fantasy can appeal to such a wide swath of folks...we gave it a shot thinking that we`d get bored fast.....well,we ended up catching up within several days.....

the production values...the high quality casting and just the unpredicatabiilty of the show make it one-of- a-kind...it`s tough to pigeonhole....it`s an adventure,a soap,a drama,horror,mystery,fictional-historical allegory and porno all mashed up into one big mess that totally works on every level... it has had more "holy shit" moments than pretty much every show I`ve ever watched combined...and squared...the dialogue is great...

if I recall it took 3 episodes to totally reel me in....but when you`re hooked, you`re hooked(at least it was with us)...

Is the truth out there after all?

Han Faulkner certainly thinks so, and decided to test his theory by flying a DRONE over Area 51 - the secretive Nevada air base that has been long associated with rumours of alien activity.
It is the place where the U.S. military developed stealth technologies and the U2 spy plane - and its existence was only acknowledged by the CIA in 2013.

But the base has been associated with alien activity ever since physicist Bob Knapp claimed in the 1980s that alien spaceships were being stored in a mountain-side hangar.
Since then, it has been a pilgrimage site for UFO enthusiasts, although the closest that the public are able to get is 26 miles away on a mountain range called Tikaboo Peak.

It was from this point that Hans Faulkner was able to film his drone footage - although we?re given little proof of alien life, and instead faced with panoramic shots of barren deserts.
Even so, Faulkner claimed to have been followed by ?white trucks? - which does little to quash the beliefs of conspiracy theorists.
Last December, U.S. presidential candidate Hillary Clinton vowed to send a task force to Area 51 to ?get to the bottom of UFOs?, if she is elected in December.
The truth, it seems, could still be out there. :0corn
