Shaub was winning the fight until he got caught.

At first glance I seriously thought he got hit in the back of the head. Rogan said right behind the ear, which isn't true, but not quite the back of the head.

Houston
Going with the dogs:

Kimbo +220 for 150 wins 330
Dennis Hallman +220 for 100 wins 220
Matt Hamill +260 for 50 wins 130

Well I feel like justice was served for me.
Superman losing a fight with 5 seconds left after having it won.
I get a cheap Hamill win.

+360 on the night.

How many fights in a row is Kimbo gonna make us money?:142smilie

So Cal
Agree - I figured a draw at best and that would be giving him a 10-8 second which would be stretching it. Dana needed the win to promote Kimbo for at least one more pay day.

I thought he might of deserved a 10-8 in that second round also. I gave kimbo the fight. Houston ran the whole fight. Why should he get points for that? Sure he hit a few kicks but my god running like that should have point deductions. Houston almost fought like someone told him if he could stretch this to the distance he would get some back door money somehow. Nelson was the easiest pick of the night for me. What did Shuab do to earn such respect? He cheated over and over again in his second fight and the third he beat that stiff Big Stiffy. If Miltron wasn't such a freakin head case i would have been all over him. His quitting with that pathetic choke scared me away.
Frankie Edgard did the job for me but i was a little nervous with that one. Frankie gets toyed a little with big time strong wrestler but the kid is a terrific fighter. I wish he would go to the WEC and clean up the 145 division. Faber would get waxed by Frankie. I think Brown would give him more problems then Aldo. Love to see Frankie and BJ throw hands. Just don't like Frankie at this weight.

you couldn`t possibly give him the first...he landed nothing.....and every significant scoring blow in the 3rd came from alexander....

just didn`yt make any sense.imo.....

i`m not complaining...just being honest....

If they gave it to Houston i wouldn't have said Kimbo was robbed that is for sure. To me the problem with MMA is that if a guy dominates a round and his opponent squeaks by the next round it is tied up 1-1.

Alll you guys are arguing is exactly why scoring fights Round by Round is completely stupid.

Houston can get mauled like he did in the 2nd round but squeek out 2 rounds where he barely did much, and win the fight. The logic is stupid, and it makes no sense. I completely hate it.

IMO, Houston should've won the fight per the rules, but he didn't exactly win the fight, if that makes sense.

I still think the 'ring control' part of the scoring is how Kimbo could have won on the scorecard.

As mentioned, you should not be able to run away from your opponent the entire round, land a few leg kicks, and win a round.

Which one of the smaller MMA leagues actually deducts points if you retreat? I think that may be a little harsh, but it's not too far off.
