As usual I lose a split decision.

Fucking hell:facepalm:

Markos won that fight but it was close.

I`ll say one thing...anybody that gets in the cage with markos had better be on their game.....she`s still a little raw....but she`s strong as hell and she throws punches that mean something...so many of these women either don`t know how to,or just don`t have the strength to do real damage with their punches....markos is trying to hurt her opponent and seems to have the wherewithal to do it........

her future looks bright,imo...

musings on some of these girls....

- heather clark bruises easily, especially around her eyes

- bec rawlings is not very good despite what seems to be good size and strength for the division

- herrig looks like a man, or a horse, or a horse-man

- torres seems wildly overrated - she lacks power and a fluid ground game, only strength seems to be her quickness - also seems to have taken the 2nd most amount of steroids (behind herrig) - the moustache is a dead giveaway

- disagree with the assertion that Calderwood was thrown a softball with the Korean girl, she seemed pretty damn tough to me (she would have beaten 75% of the chicks in the house) - hard not to like JoJo
- penne is tough but seems a bit robotic with her striking - keep hearing about her bjj but don't remember seeing it put to good use

- did I mention that I think markos is hot?

- if I want to spend time with Rose I guess I'd need to get permission from Pat Barry 1st? he is from New Orleans so I'd have that going for me...............

It seems to me that the UFC has to really, really wants Rose to win tonight - obviously will be a popular pick but she seems too damn explosive for Esparza (although Esparza's striking was a lot more impressive against Penne than it had been in her other fights) - despite the line move that suggests Carla is an obvious win I am thinking about doubling up on Rose

we can disagree whether Calderwood is as good as her press clippings.......she could be another overrated cathal pendred...or maybe not...I think she might be a bit slow and one dimensional for the top girls...

but believe me...the Korean munchkin was in there to lose....they could have matched her with a better fighter more her size.... ....but that would be counterproductive...

Well I was wrong on that fight...........

Carla Esparza with a nice win. Rose didn't have it at all, guess pressure got to her, understandable because she is so young.

I still think Carla is way over-rated to be number 1 in the world, but I give her credit she stepped up, Rose didn't.

10 fights on the card......4 underdogs won.

Biggest underdog was Heather Clark at +180 odds
