What part do you think I would disagree with?
He believes the vaccines work. He believes they are safe. He believes everyone eligible should get the vaccine, EVEN if they have already been infected. He says the messaging has been poor and at times inconsistent. He doesn't think they should rush a booster shot program until the science determines when and who should get it.
Seriously, what part have I been at odds with?

I agree with much of what the man says as well, yet I consider myself "pro-mandate" for reasons that are not really considered in this particular video.
While he addresses the "messages or guidelines" put forth in recent history he doesn't really speak to the entire issue of what is and has been publicly mandated or pressed if you will.
He complains about the mixed messaging of wearing a mask versus not wearing a mask if vaccinated etcetera and relies on an obtuse deference to obvious flaws.
The fact of the matter is that the entire issue of vaccination and preventative care or steps to eradicate the pandemic has been politicized ad nauseum, by both sides yes, however at present there is far more ANTI-VAX disinformation being purposely put forth by the right. The disinformation regarding the vaccine, the disease, the virulence, the pathogenesis of both the Coronavirus and the vaccine has been disseminated by the right since it's inception and it continues to present day.
Vaccines end pandemics. Vaccines have been managed and mandated for each and every one of our entire lives. This particular vaccine will significantly expedite herd immunity for the country, just like every other significant pandemic in history.
There are significant numbers of people who refuse to contribute to the innate altruistic needs and general welfare of the citizens of this country. Whether this refusal is driven by selective or intended ignorance, political cultural ideological loyalty and indifference is not the issue in my mind. I personally don't care if you feel like you have been somehow infringed upon by having yet another life saving, pandemic preventing vaccine added to the long list of vaccinations already mandated and required by every civilized country and culture in the world. The mandates should extend to everyone, period.
I say that because absolutely none of the arguments to the opposite have any merit in any level. No merit based in scientific methodology or fact. No merit based in personal or constitutional liberties or freedoms, no merit in past precedence, no merit in sociological functionality, culture, class, or falsehoods and facts.
Covid-19 is a virus that will continue to mutate, infect and kill people until the virus is eradicated. We have been in this position as a country several times in the past and EVERY SINGLE TIME GUESS WHAT FIXED IT? Every single time. Vaccines. Just because certain factions of society think they matter more than others doesn't alter the facts. Sooner or later the vaccination will be mandatory just like all the rest and you'll all be fine. We'll all be free to pretend whatever it is we like to pretend we are and that's what really matters.
