For what it's worth. After 20 years, a mess of PR nightmares and a traveling shit show of live performances under the original name without anyone but Axel, they are back. They'll be announcing (or at least Axel will) their reunion and details of it on Kimmel Tuesday night. They're probably my favorite band of all time. It's cool if you don't like them or get them. But for a couple years they were the biggest thing on the planet and I just miss what could have been if money and fame and well, Axel being Axel didn't get in the way. They're definitely playing Coachella and doing a stadium tour which I'm sure I'll shell out to see, but I'm more interested if they'll make new music or this is just a cash grab. But, it's been a long time coming. 2016 the jungle re-opens. Go GNR, don't fuck this up.

also always been a big fan ... went to see the tour 3 years ago and was soooo disappointed ... Axel finally got clean and was tipping about 250 lbs ... he could only sing 2 songs at a time and then go into a tent to get oxygen while the band just played without a singer

would love to see him get in shape and get his pipes back ... and I have always said "what if" ...

i hope they don't do "vanhalens" and actually try to be credible band again.
saw original 1991 and Axl's karaoke band later 20something

in Helsinki's first concert Axl was so high he left stage for an ?hour and band played
all solo shit they had :mj07: then he comes back like nothing happened.
Axl got pissed off because Duff and Slash tried play "too long improvised intro to Welcome to the Jungle"

intro starts at 43.15, followed by instrumental WTTJ...

It's Axl.

Biggest scum band of all time.....most shows they'd perform for 3 seconds and walk off stage.

oh and Axl can't sing now, should be a joke of a concert, Axl sucks now.

They'll probably walk off stage after one song:mj07:

My grandmother can sing better then Axl now, and she's dead:142smilie

Now if they lip sync all the songs and stay on stage for more then 1 song it could be good.:142smilie

For the record I like their early albums, great stuff, but the band will be a complete fucking joke now, they will sound awful.

I have a bunch of their songs downloaded and listen to em all the time, but pay money to watch them now, no fucking way.

I am telling you now.......if they do more then 10 concerts they'll walk off stage by the 7th one. If you pay money to watch them now you are an idiot. Well unless you can get a refund that is.

I saw them with Metallica and they walked off stage, caused a riot. Some bands want to give a good show for their fans, bands like GnR don't. Combine that with Axl of 2016 not being able to sing. Well look the fuck out:jump:

Go ahead and listen to Axl sing from anytime from 2010 onward, he runs out of breath after 90 seconds:mj07:

A half hour is great for Axl:142smilie

I'll say it again, if you pay money to watch Axl live, you are an idiot, he'll walk off stage in a second.

That sounds about right:mj07:

I saw them in their heyday (when Axl could actually sing)...they lasted 3 songs and left...almost caused a riot. GNR never cared about their fans, ever, and they sure don't now.

Note: Metallica and ZZ Top (yes ZZ top) were playing at that concert as well. ZZ Top actually came back and played when GNR left. Now that is all class, GNR fucks everybody over and ZZ Top and Metallica save the day. ZZ Top was ripping the shit out of GNR, it was hilarious.

GNR never cared about their fans, and never will.

I get it. You like Avril Lavine and Justin Bieber. Maybe they quit the show because they woke up and realized they were in Canada. Or maybe they looked up and were degraded by the fact they had to share a stage with Metallica. Who cares if they care about their fans. It's what made them great.

And Avril and Justin don't need oxygen when they take the stage:142smilie

Oh and Metallica is 1000x better the GNR ever was.

You know, people give hedgehog a hard time, but with idiotic statements like this I'm sure he's accurate with your assessment of you.

I am the dumbest person on Madjacks.......but you might be the dumbest person on Internet if you think GNR is anywhere close to Metallica.
