Seriously though, to each their own with music. There are songs by GNR I liked quite a bit. My favorite would be 'Civil War'. On the other hand, hearing 'Sweet Child of Mine' made my head want to split. Being a child of the 80s I thought the end of the decade was shit overall with glam bands and the like but I did have a soft spot for solo Ozzy and Crue. To this day I still think the best rock song of the 1980s was 'Still in Hollywood' by Concrete Blonde. Johnette Napolitano deserves to be in the RR Hall of Fame.

Not a Concrete Blonde fan, but don't hate 'em and agree they deserve some notice. I still get chills when I hear their song Long Time Ago as it closed the credits to one of the greatest TV shows ever. Perfect song ending what was probably the greatest TV finale of all time.
