I think the valid point about Reggie Bush's girlfriend has been overlooked. There is videotape evidence to support the author's assertions.:142smilie

Do you also laugh at posts mocking the Holocaust. What about lynchings? Are those funny? I know those who lost their lives as a result of this flooding. Even though I know I shoudn't, I take it personally when I run across animals like yourself that mock hundreds of drowning deaths and the destruction of much of the gulf coast.

Never met you, but I know you don't like what you see in the mirror.

When I read the initial letter in this thread I too had heard some of those same things out of peoples mouths up here in the past couple years.

We went through a terrible flood in 1997 in Grand Forks, ND. Pretty much the entire town of 50,000 was underwater causing billions in damage. The difference that I saw beside the obvious hurricane effects, which are much more devastating, is the actual effort of the majority of the people to fight it and to get back on their feet.

All NBC kept showing for years was the FEMA trailers being lived in and the people having no desire to even move out. They thought the government should have bailed them out, etc. I can speak from experience that it got really old hearing about all the people bitching and complaining for help, food, water, etc. YEARS after the hurricane when they weren't joining together to help themselves like we did. I personally threw sandbags for countless hours, for a month before the flood hit at peoples houses I have never met before.

Now before you get mad and say that there were tons of people trying to get back on their feet....I know there were. Of course there were. But all the looting and robbing going on in the aftermaths really left a bad taste in peoples mouth who have gone through a natural disaster and worked their way out of it within a couple years.

Not trying to be a dick but just telling you that there is some thoughts like that letter out there (not nearly that nasty but along the same lines).

Good luck to you guys in the Superbowl, I wanted the Vikes to win but you guys are fun to watch.
