My point is big pharma does not want a cure for anything they just want you to be dependent on them to treat the symptoms. Its more profit for shareholders.

Everything's a conspiracy. How then do you explain anything that has been cured via pharmaceuticals? If they find anything that works, the people behind it will be heroes and that company will be the dominant player in the industry as their patent drives share price through the clouds.
