So i put on about 9x total on Memphis to reach the final four … ranging from +3000 to +4500, averages out to +3650.
Im not gonna deep dive into the reasons why I believed they could get there, but big picture non conference results, ability to win on the road / neutral sites, and guard play.
For those who dont know, tyrese hunter is in a walking boot after sustaining a leg injury during the tulane game over the wknd.
Hunter is their 3rd best scorer, made about 80 3ptrs thiis yr, but beyond the stats, he’s the leader on offense AND played his best games this year against the toughest competition. 25+ pts against mich st, uconn, etc,

I dont think i am …. They’re now +6500 to win the region.
The jump from 30 to 1 to 65 to 1 is not due to hunter being out… the region was unknown at 30:1, and the west is a bear. And oddly enough they get OVER SEEDED and end up in the justifiable position of being a 5 seed underdog vs a 12 seed fav. Not to mention that 12 seed has 1 loss since like january.
