WHERE TO START??

1st did they take the pages out of the ESPN Magazine so he could tear it in half? It looked kinda thin.:mj07:

When you are on top then you have to expect guys who can't fight because they complain about minor injuries(Monson) to call you out..

The haters can continue to chase the Unbeaten Warrior all they want.:nono:

Why do I have to keep defending Kimbo when I don't even like him or think he is that good. The only thing I like about Kimbo is if Bas keeps working with him and he gets off the weed then he will indeed get better everyday.

Questioning whether Kimbo can read is a bit harsh.
The word Road Scholar doesn't come to mind when I hear the name Jeff Monson.

I think this would be a great fight to get an idea of Kimbo's level.
Monson destroys lower level fighters and get his ass beat everytime he fights someone with a pulse.
That is why the UFC kicked him to the curb.

Monson would take him to the ground and do what Thompson didn't.Finish him. I think Kimbo is about a year away from the skills and conditioning he would need to even compete with a real ground guy.And even then he probably wont have the needed skills.

Watching the video again and you never hear Monson ask for a fight with him.
He just says he has yet too fight a real mma fighter, maybe Monson can tell Gary Shaw where he can find one.:mj07:

Let's face it, Monson is trying to get paid. He can't beat anyone decent so he is looking for a payday.

Kimbo is just a graveyboat to Monson.

There is plenty of room left on the Kimbo boat ride. The rest of you may want to get aboard now before Kimbo walks through another victim.

This is insane how many people want to get paid off Kimbo.

Why is nobody calling out Brock, he is just as big a disgrace as Kimbo in that any decent fighter will submit him at this point in their career.

I actually think these Kimbo "call-outs" are really cowardly..

Im a fan of Lindland and I know hes tough enough to take on anyone.... he was just giving his honest opinion on Kimbo as an MMA fighter..... but Monson is just looking to take the low road to resurrecting his career. :nono: Hey Monson! How about having a good performance of your own against "a real fighter" whydontya..?

On a more positive note... I HOPE this happens:

Gary Shaw may be let go.... hooray !!! :00hour

And for those who havent heard.. Nick Diaz will fight Thomas Denny on the July 26th CBS card... will be in Diaz's hometown of Stockton, Cali. :SIB I dont see why in HELL KJ Noons couldnt step up and take the challenge... that would make for a much more anticipated card and its not like Noons had a drawn out battle or anything.. gosh, these guys drive me nutz.. do something to benefit your organization u jackass..

Hey Monson: :fingerc:

Hey Noons: :gf:

Monson is actually supposed to be very educated.

I think it's because the paths that the two have taken and the exposure of one versus the other.

Brock has a background in college wrestling, and didn't make himself famous through youtube. All be it, via the WWE/F, he admits that the only reason he joined the WWE/F was the payday.

Honestly, Brock has the potential to be a top heavyweight IMO. Kimbo is lightyears away from the level of Lesnar is at already IMO.

Honestly, if it weren't for those bogus stand up/stoppages against Mir, Lesnar would've stopped him and we'd have a very different opinion on brock. Maybe not completely sold on him, but Brock more than earned some fans in his fight.

Hey Monson: :fingerc:

Hey Noons: :gf:

As far as Gary Shaw, I can't fault the guy for jumping on the Kimbo bandwagon. The craze is gonna make the company money, and that's what it's all about. As far as the first CBS event, ELITEXC is showing me why I hope the UFC doesn't go mainstream anytime soon. These mainstream markets want too much control to run events they have no clue how to run.

As far as Monson, mehh...I think he's a quality fighter, and would certainly beat Kimbo. However, lets just be real about all these calling outs....Nobody calling Kimbo out is gonna get to fight him unless they join EliteXC, they know it, EliteXC knows it, Kimbo knows it, and we certainly know it. Therefore, everyone's gonna be willing to call him out. As far as people calling him out, I can't really fault them because think about it...

These guys put in ALL these years of HARD work. Some guys training since little kids. They were around when MMA was viewed as barbaric and were getting paid scraps or fighting for shits and giggles. Then they see this guy get famous fighting fat overweight push over CANS via Youtube and making more money than they are. I really don't fault them for being pissed off.

Finally, what's wrong with Noons? He needs to man up and fight the dude. GSP and Serra fought in Canada. How the hell does fighting in a certain venue make a difference? If you ask me, if you can win on someone elses "TURF" then that shows more.

ps- I'm not too sure EliteXC wanted to let this build up a littler. Or if they didn't like the risk of the riots in Stockton, because as some have mentioned, that city is rather CRAZY.

I meant to comment on this part, too... I roll w/ BUCS on this one 100%...

Brock is a proven athlete, a D1 national champion wrestler w/ major size and agility for a heavyweight... Brock is no disgrace, he just got caught by a true submission artist... in that fight we got a glimpse of his overwhelming power and size and he'll do juuuusssstttt fine in MMA IMO. :SIB

From what i've read Lesnar is working with a 5-time BJJ world champ on his submission defense... w/ his power he can already nullify a lot of submissions, but Mir said he planned for a kneebar based on that and he pulled it off.... just an awesome performance by Mir.. not many guys at HW will be able to successfully fight from the bottom when a 265 lb monster is raining down blows...

Standing ovation for Frank Mir after he won that fight...

I watched that fight again and when Brock got his leg caught he yanked it and lifted Mir up in the air and pulled him two feet forward . What a strong son of a gun. His boxing didn't look to bad either. I think Hearing is a much better fight for him.

I am not sold on Lesnsar AT ALL.
He had Mir in a mount and he is supposed to be this big strong monster yet he reigned down some weak ass blows on Mir.
I thought that was pathetic considering when he mounted Mir the only thing I was thinking was here comes the beating. Instead he dropped comical quick shots down on him instead of power.
It left me scratching my head about his power.
I think he is all show just like Kimbo.

Herring will beat Lesnar as well.
