Was at their last game and think Bobcats have a tough time on the rd. Jags have the best player on the court in Jones but Bobcats won at home 74-68 Bobcats started Sykes for the 1st time and he went off. He is now starting and loves to drive and drive to the basket. Jones was 3-11 from the 3 and was off. Think So Bama at home get a win and Bama needs to share the ball and get Jones the rock Think he was 8-8 from the FT line,built like a NFL safety very muscular . Not sure why he was getting froze out but was open a lot Think Tx st knows he is the top threat but Tex St D isn't very good this year. There offense flex is run well and they need to get Jones the ball. Reading my notes I write things like " So Bama out of control,forcing it inside when there is nothing there." Coach has little control of his players and Jones on 6 or 7 occasions never touched the ball . Jooduh Brown is a head case and he is one of their top scorers . So Bama coach Riley during a time out is talking to 3 of 5 starters while the other 2 aren't paying attention to him in the huddle . But still taking So Bama despite all my negative comments because they have more talent on the floor . Tex St is better coached and has trouble scoring. But starting Sykes was the key of their win the 1st time they played . Tx Post Love wasn't a factor until the 2nd half. But got the ball in the 2nd half. Think Bobcats have lost 4 of 5 on the road this year. But going with the better talent and playing at home. Both teams are 4-8 in Sun Conf They are 12-13 and 11-14 overall . Unless one of these teams win their Tourney they are not dancing in March. Again Jones is one of the best pt gds I have seen all year. But once he gives up the ball he doesn't get it back. He can penetrate shoot and pass. Tex st will have a tough time trying to stop him tonite .
