This Leafs team is in trouble........when you start getting blown out the way they have, it makes you wonder if the coach has lost the team.
Your Carolina play was never in doubt........they were up 2-0 less than 10 min. into the game.
When that happens with a team.......and they aren't ready to play, makes you wonder why they aren't into it from puck drop!
I hear ya CG!! Also the fact that many of the players were stranded looking for ways to get to their destinations after this big Polar Freeze came through, ie, Lindholm for Carolina had a 19 hr travel into Raleigh, via Sweden to NY to Raleigh, and many players in the NHL having gone thru that plus the fact that many are getting ready for the Olympics and some don't care how their teams do cuz they are probably no where close to a playoff ready team, it makes ya wanna go..."hmmmm"...and wonder if some of these teams are tanking it quickly to rest up or they just don't care.
Carolina has played like that this year, hot n cold, tonight Jordan Staal had a hot hand and some of the other players were getting good looks on goal and Toronto had looks but no flow at all, same in Caps game tonight, lots of looks up 3-1 and then 3-3 like quick!!

For as much as I love hockey, after NFL is finished there is a little bit of a lull. Can't stand NBA anymore so I'm counting days til baseball begins. Being a die hard Cub fan though, I'm kind of excited to see some of these kids olay and see 2015 as a big year. Wishful thinking but trusting Theo and what he is trying to do
