i,for one

i,for one

am glad they stopped it...the guy`s 41 years old....has won 2 of his last ten fights....it`s time to hang `em up....i`m glad they stopped it before evander got seriously hurt....

the guy gave us to many great thrills to be bloodthirsty and want to see him permanently injured...

it`s time to hang `em up....evander hit the wall...a great career...

that HAS to be his last fight...

toney carried the weight excellently.....that shocked me.....i should have held my toney bet....but,i bought back at holi -130....and won a pack of cigarettes...

i hope that`s it for holi....he`s gonna get seriously hurt....what a great career....

toney is the new kid on the heavyweight block....

Fletch,

I agree 100% with your scroing of the fight. Dont know what fight the other guy is watching, but I have to agree again that I was glad it was stopped. Holyfield was never going to win the fight. Perhaps he should not have been there in the first place, but James Toney far exceeded all expectations. Holyfield has to retire....my only concern is what these type of guys do after quitting. You must have read the reports about Frank Bruno in a mental hospital over here in the UK. Lets hope Holyfield can find a way of staying in the sport without fighting.

Have to add that James Toney conduct in the interview was a disgrace. He trashed talked Lennox all wekk, but Lennox could teach him a thing or two about respect. Perhaps this is the kind of motivation Lennox needs, to come out and shut this arrogant Toney up.

no problem at all Gregg hell every so often people will have a little gripe with each other because we are like a big family so that stuff will happen and i get a chip fast at times then it is gone in 5 mins , i know it is never personal just the heat of things when you have so many people. i never lost any respect or friendship for you over that but thanks for your reply you always have a friend here in me that will help you out to the best i can when i can.

take care and have a great week

Eric

garth LL would take Toney to the cleaners people can bitch all they want about LL i like the guy and think he has been a great not only boxer but person for the sport of boxing. Very well mannered person with a big heart for people.
