Rock quits with a cut over his eye from a headbutt

No heavyweight quits like that. That pussy/
Man you are supposed to die in the ring.

Where have all the real fighters gone.

no decision.

no knockdowns.

Best Damn just got over with Toney.
Rahman didnt quit. Doctor called it????????????????????????
HOW IS THAT A TKO???

If the decision to stop the fight is not in the fighters control from an accidental headbutt then you cant punish him.

This will be appealed and overturned but doesn't matter to the gambler now does it.

BOXING IS A JOKE.

Ouch.

Sorry Scott, looked like a good play, a complete fluke outcome. Even the best minds cant overcome sheer randomness. Tis nature's cruelest tactic.

i don`t understand any of it...

but, theres no way rahman couldn`t see because of a headbutt that gives him a cut over his brow...

he had a rough 3rd round and pussed out...

should have been a no contest...but,in a way, rahman deserved what he got...

he should never have said "i can`t see"...that`s bogus...

That was pretty much robbery

Rahman didnt want to fight.

What did I say about intelligence. Thats what I get for betting on these two idiots.

Toney claims he is top heavyweight. What a joke he is.

I have lost alot more than I have won betting on Toney fights.

I agree he kinda pussed out,but what he said was true. All Toney shots came after the headbutt and he was clearly messing with it during the round.
So who knows, maybe he did have blurred vision.

Either way when doctor says its over from an accidental headbutt then it goes to the scorecard, but I think it has to go a certain distance for that which it didn't.

should have been a "no contest" because it didn` go into the 4th(that`s usually the way it goes).....

5 dimes graded mine already...

i agree that rock may have taken the easy way out consciously, but you cant blame him. he's in a career-defining fight with millions of dollars at stake, with the option of fighting 9 rounds with a bad handicap or getting out with a no contest. worst case scenario is he fightsa on but referee stops it later and calls it a tko, even tho it was the butt and not the punch.

rock didnt need to risk it, and he didnt.

If you have a loser then you might get a sportsbook to refund your money if they call it a no contest in the next 24 hours. If you have a good sportsbook.

If it takes days or weeks then you are screwed more than likely.

That 3rd Round wasn't as big as the announcers made it out to be either.
Toney won it,but I think Rock was up 2-1 on the card. Rahman hasn't been known as a quiter so I am gonna give him the benefit of the doubt.

Yeh the only other point is that Toney does not headbutt accidentally .

Guarantee you that was on purpose to slow Rock down. Its part of the dumb ass thinking some fighters do that make boxing what it is.

In the modern game, rules in the United States now dictate that any bout which ends prior to the completion of the 4th round, due to an accidental headbutt, is to be declared a no-contest. Prior to this, accidental headbutt stoppages, had been ruled a technical draw. Most other no-contests in boxing occur when unusual circumstances, which would include instances such as a bout being rained out, ring falling apart, or an unexpected injury caused by something outside of the boxer's control.
...........................................................

I think I would have won a technical draw.

Maybe they will appeal and it will take a long time

to decide the outcome.

................................................................

Yeh Toney knew he could hit Rock if he put the head butt in first. Just like Holyfield , its one of
Toney's best punchs the left right head butt.
