If he stays or goes so be it...Alabama will survive and continue to strive...Top five program always attracts good coaches...Kirby can handle the job all though Saban has set the bar for all to be measured by...Hard to see him leaving because he has everything in place for continued success....RUMORS........

Yea yall attracted some stellar coaches in the decade between Stallings and Saban!

Dubose
Franchione
Price
Shula

love the Bama fan logic that because you had a great coach in the 60s-70s that every good coach wants to come there... RichRod was the top candidate before Saban was hired :mj07:

"T"...Good luck in Pasadena will be pulling for ya....What's your take on this game ? Really want to wager on the Tigers but their defense has me worried although I feel Gus will have your boys ready....gl:0074

Auburn is going to get ours on Offense. FSU fans have taken the same stance as every other team we've played in the last month. They are gonna be the ones that FINALLY stop our run game... because... well they are FSU and they think that their defense shutting down glorified MAAC offenses actually means something to the rest of the college football world that knows their schedule has been an absolute joke (2nd worst SOS of any team to make the BCS NCG behind 2010 UO). Bama couldn't stop our run, Mizzou's #2 rush D in conference couldn't either, FSU sure as shit isnt.

I was worried about Jameis vs. Our Secondary until the last 24 hours seeing a few pretty rational guys talk about it, with a couple of unbiased Bama friends chiming in the discussion:

FSU's WRs aren't any better than Mizzous. Hopefully no Noles try to convince anyone that Benjamin is better than Dorial GB. he's not. yes DGB torched us a couple times, that is gonna happen again in the NCG, but for the most part we limit big plays on D and play the bend don't break... and force people into mistakes.
This I didn't know until this morning: FSU is 3rd worst in sacks allowed on O. I think this bodes well for the Jameis vs. Secondary matchup. Our DL is playing better every week. I know FSU has a top draft pick at LT, but the rest of the line is supposed to be pretty bad. Allowing more than 2 sacks a game vs. the competition they faced on defenses doesn't bode well for playing against us because the DL is our biggest strength this year. Everyone that has watched the D in the 2H vs Mizzou saw that when we pinned our ears back and started blitzing we shut down Mizzou's offense. I don't think FSU will be able to run that much on us, and we'll be able to blitz and force FSU into some 3rd and long or maybe force turnovers.

I think turnovers will be huge and Marshall has to stop putting the ball on the ground. Although we did say the same thing about the Iron Bowl and AU lost the turnover battle 0-1 in that one and still outplayed Bama for 3/4 quarters.

People predicting a blowout for FSU are probably the same people that have been betting against AU and losing their ass all year. Have learned to just avoid debating with these people and collecting my money on saturdays. The game is gonna be real close and I'll be giving one of my friends that's staying in Vegas Saturday night before the game, before driving to meet the rest of us in LA Sunday, some money to put on Auburn Moneyline. I think our team is more battle-tested and FSU hasn't been hit in the mouth a single time this year. While Auburn has shown more resilience than any CFB team I can remember in my life. That has more of an impact than most people care to give credit for... Just my opinion.

Looking forward to a great game and a good weekend out there. And some beeeautiful scenery between Auburn and FSU women that will be out there :SIB

Not to start a war... We are the only team to stop your run game.

I don't think Saban goes anywhere.

I think most people would bet on Saban staying if they had to put a sizeable amount of money on it. Only thing that is weird about the situation is that the guy hasn't said a damn thing about it. Speak up before your fanbase edges towards the cliff

As for that other part... we still believed in the forward pass when we played MSU... crazy actually. We ran as many pass plays vs. yall as we did against Arky, Tenn, Bama and Mizzou combined.

I think Marshall had been on campus for a little over a month when we played you guys. He didn't really start running the read option correctly until the OMiss game

State blitzed a lot from every direction too. A lot of ppl in the backfield. Aub coaches talked highly of MSU DLine. Y'all definitely had a lot of breaks in that one. Still don't know how Marshall hit our DB in the chest and it bounce right back to him. That is a pick 6 99.999999% of the time haha

Mack Brown is still the head coach of Texas on this Friday, December 13th.........The Texas job is not open as of right now so why should Saban address it.......He has said on multiple occasions that he is not going anywhere.......He said he is too damn old to rebuild a program.......

Auburn has about as much chance of beating FSU as Tre Mason does of winning the Heisman. If not for two miracle plays Auburn is in the Outback Bowl

Pssttt, Jess!!???? He was in North Carolina too!!

If you saw the tears in his eyes during Maxwell Award presentation last night, you knew in your heart he wasn't going anywhere.

Brett McMurphy is trying to become a name to remember!! He's a piece of cow manure from the pastures in Buttfuckegypt, near the River of , DesNile!!!

Media is another word for medium pizza from Dominos!! They both suck!!

Mack Brown got the screws to him in North Carolina, Tulane and when he was an Assistant no one would even give him a sniff at their sneakers!!

No one brings up the fact that Musch-chump was supposedly the successor to Mack while at UT, and he's done wonderful at U of Flo-ride-uh!!

Saban has been happy at Alabama since he accepted when he left the Fish of Miami and he and his wife were totally thrown back when the tornadoes came thru Tuscaloosa and took so many lives and was right on campus! That freaked both of them out cuz they never really been thru anything like that. Not even in Michigan or Ohio. Xenia was another story however!!

Glad he's staying put, except if the Lions fire, Schwartkopfffffffff, you could hear rumors about Nick bolting to the NFL for that job!!

NOT!!!

Nice thread!!

This is cute.

What was the 2nd miracle play we needed? Hopefully you are referring to the "kick 6" because without that play we would have gone to Overtime... and won then. But you saying 2 miracle plays lets me know you're a dumbass
