Dan I was hoping you could clear this up for me. Since 1990, defending champ is 8-4 S/U in Game 1 of the following year for a 66.7% win rate. Can you explain your "BIG % PLAY" here?

yes your right 8-4 SU. but against the spread 0-9 . the line is so low ( under 3 points) that the spread shouldn't matter?? i would take pitt outright. new england, had a great year, but should struggle a little this season. also everbody, will be up for the superbowl champs. ESP GETTING POINTS!!

You think a spread doesnt matter at 3 points or less? The reason I posted 8-4 SU is that the Pats are 2.5-3 point DOGS. Which means if you were to go strictly by the SU numbers, they have a more than reasonable chance, esp getting a field goal.

Also I dont understand why you think the public is all over NE. The line has moved almost 3 points in Pitts. favor and will go more in my opinion.
